England would win 1-0, with a goal from a set piece.

USA would do better to draw a less physical team than England. Italy would be ideal for them as they not very physical and play a slow tempo.
    Exactly.

England would probably win 1 or 2-0, or 2-1 if we can get going early.

But it would not be a walk in the park for them. Sure, they'll most likely beat us, but it won't be an easy game as Nick claims.

Ya, I would like to draw Italy from pot one because we know we can beat them and we would have last two times we played them had it not been for some harsh red cards. From pot 2 I would be happy to avoid France and Serbia
I'd take on the Serbs instead of Denmark, for instance.

Want to avoid France and the Divers, of course.

A C squad, that was surprisingly great throughout the whole tournament.

The final score against Mexico took me by surprise.
Bradley tinkered throughout the tournament though. He made Ching captain in the final and did not field the best players. Plus the competition before the final was weak.

That's not true. They have some of the best talent coming through that they have ever had. Vela, Moreno, Castillo, Guardado, and the Dos Santos brothers are amazing talents.

Mexico also had their biggest victory in history against us, the U.S., this past summer. Although it must be said we had a C squad on display.
I haven't watched Mexico, but that is a lot of pretty young players.

Maybe this World Cup will come a bit too soon for them, but they could be strong in 2014.

The USA are too well organised these days for it to be easy for any team to be them.

Trust me it would. :) I kid, yes it would be by a one goal margin I think. However I think the difference in quality would prevail and that is expected. However USA could do no worse than draw Italy, as proven in the last world cup Italy failed to do anything against USA.

I meant first pot. They chose to go with the October ranking instead of the November rankings as they usually do. England were ranked 7th during October and 9th during November. If they would do as they usually do and go with the November ranking then England would be in pot 2 and France would be in pot 1.

My apologies, did they not change the rankings system? lets face it if you had to play a playoff, it certainly does not warrant you a place in pot 1.
