I turned on ESPN like you said and the first comment I heard was "Something called the Champions League in Europe". The Soccer "coverage" in this country is appalling

Well you have to say that because most people watching ESPN don't know what that is.
I guess it depends upon which program you are watching, usually the only time I hear soccer mentioned on ESPN is before a CL game. I guess during football programming it makes sense to assume nobody knows what the CL is

It's on ESPN 2 at noon.
Cannot wait for it. Apart from the typical nonsense at such events, I anticipate the draws more and more every four years. But this time it's different because no matter what, we will get a tough group.

    Fucking pots, wearing me thin.

That's what I thought, too. CONCACAF gets the short end of the stick again, not able to draw any of the weakest countries. Pots like these also protect the big boys of course.

I'm not entirely optimistic about our chances for a few different reasons, the pot setup is one.
Asia was screwed a bit too but you would've got a better draw if the old system was employed.

I think its more about giving the African teams the advantage more than anything. Lets hope thats the only thing they do and nothing like the crap from 2002 happens.
