Juve To Bid For Spurs Flop Kaboul
Juventus could be set to make a transfer bid for Tottenham Hotspur flop Younes Kaboul, according to the Corriere dello Sport.
The French defender only joined Tottenham from Auxerre last summer for £8.2m, however his first season in English football has been nothing short of disastrous.
The 22-year-old has made a huge catalogue of calamitous errors, and having lost his place in the first team, it seems likely that manager Juande Ramos will sell him in the summer.
Juventus were interested in signing Kaboul before he joined Spurs, and according to the Corriere they are ready to resurrect their interest.
Kanoul’s agent revealed earlier this week that it was possible that his client could be leaving, and he named Juve as one of the teams interested.
"Younes is happy at Tottenham, but the only problem at the minute is that he is not playing enough," said Rudy Raba.
“It is his first season in England and he has made a few mistakes, but you do not become a bad player overnight.
"I know a lot of clubs would like to sign Younes if he became available with Lyon, Marseille, Bayern Munich, Juventus and Lazio all interested in him."
