Juve To Bid For Spurs Flop Kaboul

Juventus could be set to make a transfer bid for Tottenham Hotspur flop Younes Kaboul, according to the Corriere dello Sport.

The French defender only joined Tottenham from Auxerre last summer for £8.2m, however his first season in English football has been nothing short of disastrous.

The 22-year-old has made a huge catalogue of calamitous errors, and having lost his place in the first team, it seems likely that manager Juande Ramos will sell him in the summer.

Juventus were interested in signing Kaboul before he joined Spurs, and according to the Corriere they are ready to resurrect their interest.

Kanoul’s agent revealed earlier this week that it was possible that his client could be leaving, and he named Juve as one of the teams interested.

"Younes is happy at Tottenham, but the only problem at the minute is that he is not playing enough," said Rudy Raba.

“It is his first season in England and he has made a few mistakes, but you do not become a bad player overnight.

"I know a lot of clubs would like to sign Younes if he became available with Lyon, Marseille, Bayern Munich, Juventus and Lazio all interested in him."

But I`d still keep an eye on Ivanovic. :p

Why is not Chelsea playing him?

And btw if we don`t have money for good CB I`d bring Ujfalusi for sure.
It's odd but I expected that. Poor judgment from Branistlav.

I like UFO. He's friends with Pavel. He's free. Can he bring more than the guys we have? Would be nice if he was a bit younger so we could be set at CB for years to come with Giorgio.

I knew he`d play little but I didn`t expect not even to see him there.

I think we`d get more than the guys we have.Even though he`s kinda old I think he could do well for at least 2 years. But sign him ONLY if we don`t have any chance for Zapata this summer.

Are not we well covered in the CD department, Chielini,Mellberg,Andrade,Legro, and Zebina and Grygera both can play there, Criscito to return, there must be someone to leave before we sign any CB.

Of those you mentioned I think Andrade and Zebina will be sold if we make a play at Ujfalusi, which i hope we do

Ivanovic will probably get more time next season when he learns English. Defenders can't just come into a team and play like attackers, they rely on communication a lot more. Same thing is happening with Da Costa at Fiorentina. And remember one of the supposed reasons Kovac left Juve was that he wasn't learning the language after 2 years.
