Oh, no. Man Utd aren't arrogant. They're just better. ;)

Well, it's partially true. If you limit his argument to England, Keane is right. He neglects the rest of the world though.

Yeah, but who'd want to play for Arsenal? Guys like Henry and Vieira owe Wenger for helping them make their names in football, but few established stars would pick Arsenal over Man Utd. I don't like them for their arrogance (which has less basis in reality than Man Utd's) and their play.

They play fine passing football, but...
  • Man City are in the UEFA Cup next season, after finishing behind Man Utd, Chelsea, Newcastle and Liverpool in the FIFA Fair Play league. Arsenal are closer to the other end of that particular table
  • Arsenal have a tendancy to dive. This is a bit unfair. Ashley Cole does most of this.
  • On the other hand, he must have gotten about three players sent off last season who literally did not touch him
  • They're arrogent on the pitch too. Playing against a little team last season, they started playing keepy-uppies in their opponent's half. That's just not right.

Anyway, Chelsea have been severely also-rans in the last few years. Their last league title was in the 1950's unless i remember incorrectly. They don't quite have the prestige of Man Utd, though that could change with their new owner. We'll see.
