12 million for Podolski or 23 for Shaqiri. Difficult at this point with Berardi looming on the horizon. Podolski could be ideal for 1-2 years, Shaqiri potentially much better of course, but coexisting with Berardi is not going to happen...

you talk as if they are of same positions. the one is attacking midfielder/winger, the other is a striker

Mid: Pogba, Vidal
Cam: Berardi, Shaqiri, Coman

Berardi is not a striker.

Neither one of those 3 is actually a CAM. They're all wingers by nature. Perhaps Berardi could play in a two-striker system, but that's not his best position at all.

Di Maria is going to cost about 80 milion, why shouldn't we give 23 for a young winger? We need to wake up and face a new reality when it comes to prices.

because manu are rich, desperate and retarded to pay that kind of money for a player who wanted to leave? (if the numbers are true...)
stop making up new rules for the transfer market out of some individual deals like di maria or luiz, where one participant of the deal just completely lost it. you can make absolutely every deal look brilliant/retarded by refering to those deals.

furthermore, if 23m is a fair price for him, why don´t bayern ask for more? they don´t want to sell and they don´t need to sell...

I think 23m is fair but if we can get him for 3 + 17m then I think Marotta has done a good job. With Morata, Shaqiri, Coman and Berardi for our future we look good in that final third.

berardi shaqiri coman
Morata

nice.

I actually think 23 million is quite reasonable. We can negotiate and bring the price down to 20.

Wtf do you guys expect to pay in today's mercato for an established Swiss international, who happens to be a young player with potential? Don't be fucking ridiculous. Remember how much we paid for the likes of Bonucci, Ogbonna, Martinez, and Krasic before you complain about the aforementioned asking price.

they don't really need him either, they're stacked and the guy wants to leave. what you think would be a fair price? 23 sounds good to me, anything under 15 would be a steal

exactly... another reason why i don´t think that he should be valued at 23m.

imo his value should be around 18, maybe 20. i don´t see him as a world beater. talented for sure but will never be world class. if he stays at bayern i´m 100% sure that they will rather spend a fortune to replace ribery and robben instead of playing him. having said that: he is a good player and would probably suit us very well.
so if juve were planning to buy him outright i guess i wouldn´t be thrilled if the price went above 20, even in today´s market. after reading the article again it seems like we are going for loan+option again which would obviously drive up the price. i can´t see bayern accepting that but if they do, i think 23m alltogether (loan+transfer fee) would be borderline/a little too much but maybe acceptable, given our current and next year´s position. 3m loan + 23m option almost sounds like a ripoff, though.

feel free to disagree. i know many here rate him very highly.

exactly. it´s a reasonable price for bayern to ask at the start of a negotiation...

well 18, 20 and 23 seems pretty close to me, you rate him at 20, I do at 23, there's no real difference there. I like the player, he's 22yo and will probably be sold for a lot more than 23m if we ever do that
