I believe it'll be the opposite, Zanetti will get the start and Poulsen will have to fight for his spot.
I don't think so no. I'd bet a 100$, Zanetti will start the first game from the bench.
Zanetti is still the best player of the trio, frankly.
Overall, yes. Tackling and ball-winning wise? No one holds a candle to Momo. I'm still waiting to familiarize myself with Poulsen more though.

Salman, where's the smoking hot picture of Britney? Not that there's anything wrong with Kate Winslet...

By the way, for those of you discussing our lack of creativity when our "playmaker" Zanetti was out of the lineup (Ouch... it hurts me to admit that he was one of our crucial playmakers - he is be all means a high quality player, but our team is JUVENTUS... which should be synonymous with the BEST. Zanetti should be coming off the bench, not part of the starting 11), I thought that our lack of creativity was most apparent when Camo was out. He was absolutely crucial for us last year...
zanetti is plainly underrated. his abilities are up there with the best its just his previous teams didnt believed in him. we did.

I don't think any team ever underrated him, he was a starter at Roma and Inter...he's probably too low-profile and was never appreciated that much

i think all 3 are starters. They will rotate and it will depend how often we will play games..I think CR will use same tactics as before, when we score, he will try to keep result..remember nocerino coming in few times..and fiorentina game?
However we have better DM's now

I won't even try to convince you.
Thx for not trying! Realizing in hindsight that wasn't the most constructive post toward discussion..

Anyhow, they are all filthy, it's just a case of who gets called on it:

“We had clandestine meetings in Paris, but unlike the other clubs, we didn’t get caught!” Galliani on Flamini signing.

I realize Flamini was free to talk at the time but it illustrates the same mentality that Moggi was lambasted for.

Anyhow, prefer Poulsen to Flamini anyway, and X. Alonso could still come in January if we do in fact need him and are still in the CL.

Signing him in January wont be the best situation but at elast we'll have something for the future...right now our central midfield doesnt look promising.

I think you will change your mind once the season starts. I think we will be fine and i think Poulsen will prove all those Juve fans who hate him. I also think Marchiso might make an impact. One thing i am kind of mad at is that Zanetti will proababley be on the bench and i think he is so underated. That guy was our best midfielder by a mile. Anyways i think we will have a terrific season, i think we will get 3rd place but i dont expect any trophies right now. I bet we will finish in 3rd behind AC Milan and Inter. We just are not up to their leval of quality yet but i think in two years we will be. Once Giovinco, De Ceglie, and Marchiso are expierenced! I believe in our youth very much!

Let's agree to disagree on this one Zann - While I do believe that Zanetti was crucial for us LAST year, and while I do believe that he has a good deal of quality, I definitely do not agree that he is "up there with the best". But that's cool - you're entitled to your opinion, and we're definitely both pulling for Zanetti and Juventus 100%. If he proves that he needs to be in the starting line up consistently for us to be at our best, then I'm all for his inclusion - that was the case last year, but keep in mind that we finished 3rd without participating in Europe. I'm not trying to put the blame on CZ - in fact, the season was a huge success relative to the challenges, and he was an important part of that success (relegation/promotion, finances, our transfer campaign...Secco? haha). For the record, I do believe that Zanetti is underrated as well... amongst our fans and football followers in general. I am sticking to my guns here though - if this team is going to win major trophies, I doubt it will happen while Zanetti is a staple in the starting lineup. Oh, and I'm all for him proving me wrong, as I do like his attitude, and I'm very happy to have him in the squad. FORZA JUVENTUS!!

Good call Salman. I found this picture on Craigs List tonight and thought it was pretty fucking hilarious. Don't worry - I won't subject the forum to it for too long...

I can't wait to see the reaction on the forum if Inter do actually sign him :lol2:
