thanks for the welcome tassard. to juve red. you are right i said that. my bad, i didnt mean he was better than pirlo it came out wrong. i just wanted to note that he is right up there and we wouldnt have to envy milan having prilo. since alonso can do the job.

to be fair. pirlo does his passing here in italy where there is less space to work with.
now, epl and serie A are very diffrent leagues. i hope alonso can deliver us performances like he did in liverpool.

The EPL is far harder than Serie A and there's arguably less space for a player in Pirlo's position. It does get very difficult to create space when you get closer to goal in Serie A though and the fact the pace is so much in higher in the EPL means there are bound to be more openings every once in a while as it's impossible for everyone to be in position.

Still, I see no difficulties for Xabi Alonso whatsoever. I have always been a fan of him and would like to get him, although he's becoming quite expensive.

:D

Nocerino was a good destroyer and will become a very good destroyer.
yup and secco saw his potential and decided to sell him.

god he would have been the perfect substitue for sissoko's role in case anything happened.

i just dont understand why they sold him to buy a striker that we do not need.

dont get me wrong amauri is great and now that he is here i wish him the best. but nocerino was our own personal young gattuso.

we to a risk with him last year and kept him. then he proved hi is one of italy's best young prospects in his role and now we sell him.

it just doesnt make sense.

I wouldn't go that far, but I think we gave up on Nocerino too soon.

Overall i'd say In EPL it's harder to express your talent, but you can mask your shortcomings better. While in Serie A you can express your talent better, but at the same time your shortcomings are more exposed.

i can't help but think the same, sure he had a terrible second half to the season but we have to remember that he was looking good for the first few months and even earned an Azzurri call up.

time will tell if we made the right decision
