No, if we signed Milito we wouldn't have gotten Chiellini as CB, just like Mark said.
Our defense would have been Zebina-Criscito-Milito-Chiellini. If Criscito failed as he did, then Legrottaglie would have replaced him, not Chiellini.
Chiellini was given a chance to play cb only because we lost both of our starting cb's, Andrade due to an injury, Criscito due to poor form.
