I read Blanc negociated on the phone and got an agreement for 19 M € + 2M based on performances. That's a lot of money, but Xabi could become the most important link in our team...

now let's hope

1. he signs
2. he doesn't choke
the media in Italy calculated and converted the £ to € from last year's value or something so the "real" numbers are about 16-17m €+ 2m €.

any of you guys happy or surprised to have the names of our targets and signings appear in the media? Before, most of the time we were surprised by a new signing. Now in the Secco era we know practically who we'll buy next.

I kind of like knowing who we're targeting but would like to be surprised with a good player who wasn't really linked with us. We've been linked with almost every player in the world so that would be hard but you get my drift.
Its nice to know who we are aiming to sign. But at the same time its annoying being linked with almost everyone out there. Specially when it came to the Amauri saga, who we were linked for the longest time. Yeah we signed him in the end, but it was something I just got tired off.
