salma hayek's a slag anyway! cos she slept with my mate the other night. so Torres is Juve bound yeah??. Get real! ha. We'll get Amauri. Im a bit dubious about the signing of amauri for some reason, then again i had the same feeling when Toni went to La Viola (Fiorentina to some of you who havent a clue.) Not that i cared anyway but he was/is a goal machine. There is something about trez that annoys me. Wish we had a striker who can dribble with pace, and be able to do some kinda shit from time to time. Trez is just a box player. The missing link since Zizou left has been a attacking midfielder. Neddy got draughted in which was good but he's too much of a wide player. we was awesome with the attacking midfielder of zidane and davids with the holding role. Since then our managers dont want that att mid. Capello loved his 2 def mid and from the looks of things Ranieri too. Getting both diego and flamini would be awesome. but got the feeling neither will come.

Side-track abit .... Know there is not even a remote rumour on his guy.
Perdersen from Blackburn ... a LM

I think he is pretty good despite its lack of media exposure in the peninsula
pedersen is not a bad player but hes quite inconsistent.he would be good for a back up not a started i think

I didn't read the previous 5 pages but i bet someone said "Torres is over-rated. He's Spanish and they never do good in Italy"

I may be wrong but the only Spanish (Basque, to be more precise) player who was considered a world class and failed in Italy was Mendieta.
The other Spanish guys weren't anything special when they came to Italy, and they weren't any better after they left Italy. One season wonders like Javi Moreno or Jose Mari or veterans like Guardiola who played their last football days in Italy.

As for Torres being over-rated, i agree with that. He scores only at World cups, in Champions league in EPL and La Liga.
He can't score in Italy because the defenders are much tougher.
Or so they say.

He is not needed IMO.

And whoever thinks we have a chance for Torres is dreaming.
Id disagree.Alonso may play deep, but he isnt your run of the mill midfield destroyer. His passing range is excellent. We definatley need some spark, and even though Alonso doesnt play in the same role as someone like Diego or Kaka,he can definatley orchestrate moves from his position. He's a very well balanced central midfielder, and someone who on form,is one of the best in the world.Plus he'd be able to fit easily into Ranieri's 4-4-2.

It's not Torres' ability that would be in question if he were to become heavily linked with us, it'd be other factors involving price in relation to our budget

We won't spend so much money on one single player, sadly.I would prefer to spend a lot on 2 worldclass signings over 4 average ones. Torres,Flamini&Ujfalusi anyone? We just would have to pay a fee for Fernando;).
Sounds great. Also put €6.5m on Grosso and €10m on Miguel and we're set :D

I think Cigarini is alternative to Xabi, they have similar playing style and it would be cheaper to go for the young Italian. How good is he i am not sure but he was one of Ranieri's main players with Parma. If we go for Flamini and Xabi, would not that means we have 4 good players who are fighting for the starting 2 spot, i think Ciga wont mind sitting on the bench for a while.

Cigarini is a better option than Alonso with regards to certain things. For starters,he's Italian so he wont have any issues adjsuting to the league, secondly he's played under Ranieri so that would make adjusting at Juventus easier for him.Plus he's younger than Alonso. In terms of skill however,Alonso is the better player.Having said that,he'd have to adjust to a new country and to a new team, which is the downside in Alonso's potential move here.

Personally,id prefer Alonso, but i wont complain if we get Cigarini either. He has the potential to become better than Alonso.

cudicini would make a good cover for buffon....
but for both flamini n xabi?? dude we gotta choose...
i like the opinion of bringing cigarini rather than xabi...
reasons are : first, cigarini doesn't needs to adaptate. second, cigarini cost less. third, cigarini is italian and since juve's dna is italian, i think it would be a good decision to add another italian midfielder to our squad....
so IMO we should sign flamini (since he's free) and cigarini...
i think it would bring benefit to the squad depth without disturbing our financial condition...
