Bentley is a better player but that doesn't mean Downing isn't a good one.

And,I dunno,watched few Middlesborough games,let's take an example,against MAnU .....Downing was brilliant.....he canc cross,dribble,pass....and he showed that he can score,he has a good composure also.... If that's one dimension then thats the dimension many coaches want. He will leave boro soon,there's not many leftsided natural wingers like him around.

Id take BOTH Risse and Alonso in a heartbeat.Risse is too attack oriented for us,but he's still not as bad a player as people make him out to be.Alonso's quality on the other hand,is unquestionable.
