UFFICIALE: Arrivi in casa Juventus...

on the vecchiasignora forums a memeber posted up today that Juve abandoned XAbi for Stank...and we should be hearing an announcement as earlier as next week... hope his wrong
The way Ranieri was talking it seems that this could be the case unless it is a scare tactic to get liverpool to lower their fee a bit knowing we are the main suitors for Alonso.

I am surprised Madrid or Valencia are not interested in him. Madrid have been commenting alot on him over the years. And Valencia need a player like him.

Real Madrid are really focus on getting Cristiano Ronaldo & they just brought back Ruben De La Red, Javi Garcia, Granero who can all play as central midfielders. Lets not forget that Sneijder can also play in that position.

Valencia aren't in any position to spend big since they failed to qualify for the CL and they just bought Banega during the winter market. So now they have to balance the books by selling some players (they have a really big squad, they had around 40 players during the regular season.

well that feels like a waste...we've been posting about xabi for so long.

Apart from him being an interista why don't we want Skankovic? Stupid question?

No matter what we wise, it seems that our managers keep repeating that we will only buy one of those two and the money will allocated for Amauri, will actually force us to buy Stankovic instead of Alonso in the end.
Gigli and Blanc said that and their puppy CR, confirmed that, we are going for one midfielder and that would be Stankovic...
I was expecting Pool to accept the 18mil offer though, esp when they want to make the upgrade...

The Gareth Barry transfer saga is now all but a formality with a deal expected in the next 48 hours. Liverppol need sale proceeds (Crouch/Alonso?) Alonso will then be on his way somewhere. Juve possibly, Valencia possibly.
