Revealing myself? I took a gamble because I was certain that Melo and Alen were Cs and I was right. Melo was voted out and once I was confirmed as C tomorrow then Alen would have been next so I think I probably did more than any of the other Cs...

Cs were just making a strong comback before somebody ended the game.
Nah man, the stuff about the detective standing up for c's being voted for. It was what we had been trying to do all day - we knew jbf was investigated so we wanted to keep attacking him until someone stood up for him and then recruit him. You did the same thing but obviously so we all pointed it out and made a fuss and everyone voted for you. When you revealed your role we didnt want you lynched because the jailer gets reassigned and its good to know who one of the roles is so we can watch who you talk to!

I only had to do that because I was getting people say I was a G everytime i asked for clarification. I even threw a pretend strop to make it look like i was a C that was too busy, as opposed to a G that was too busy.
I know, thats what I mean, I played like two dozens of games, and that has allways been a convenient angle atleast one G in every game has shown the pattern of, the need to explain their absense (no one did it as vehemently as you though lol). They can be and were genuinly busy in soem way, like you were, but its still a card they played eagerly, because as said, its convenient crutch. Being G in general is tough, not easy trying to act natural and put up facades (the hardest thing pretending to be oblivious of who is who and seem like you suspect everyone), so one can take easy routes, like making excuses.

I didn't stand up for JBF nor did I ask the detective to reveal himself. You guys exposed yourselves for trying to turn my misguided comment into some kind of condemning evidence.

As a G I was defending Melo, but how did you know who was I defending between Melo and JBF? Both had 3 votes at the point when I accused you? I said many times that both simply have to be Cs. JBF and the D were gonna be on my side for defending JBF and I expected them both to question themselves if Melo is really a G.
Then I needed to convince the others to vote for Dru, which would have happened after Matt (a civilian) was willing to do it. The other Gs (+JBF and Rab probably) were gonna go for Dru.

But then you happened and I simply had to take the chance on you :D

I wasn't willing. I told you it was a stupid idea and from then I suspected you even more.

Yeah, me and Kyle was rolling like Starsky and Hutch.
You are one lazy mofo (not like Dru though, who still wants to play after 3 times of "non-playing" ), it was extra annoying to read because you were really on to something with how you were thinking, but too lazy or selfish (selfish because game isnt about self-perservation, but as a C trying to everything possible to flush out Gs before they get upperhand) to really get your thoughts and hunches out there.

JBF even implored you and you backed down. Its extra important that those who sense something, even if wrong conclusions, put it to words so others can react to it, and it opens up things to analyze (like how Kyle put Melo on the spot, who showed himself to be obvious G. Or how JBF in general was doing). If it doesnt happen, then Cs are nothing but sheep, that can easily be ripped apart. Plus the most important factor, its fun to analyze, snoop and manipulate others with every word, even as a C (even more so as a C).

Oh, I understood you wrong.

But it isn't a stupid idea in general. We need to teach those guys a lesson :D
Seriously, what if the inactive players (and it's always the same guys) have a special role. We all wait for them and look for the special roles while they're not even here.
I think killing the inactives should become a rule :D

didn't say you did. but you said "if they are c's and the detective knows they should defend them" Which is a coy way of asking the detective to reveal themselves. It might now have been what you meant but its how it was read but not just us but everyone else that voted for you!

Don't take it so hard man.

I told Melo with capital letters not to send PMs to people but he was like "Dude, I am almost gonna convince this guy to do this" "Dude, I convinced this guy to vote this way" etc etc.

You can't play the G role with lunatics like Melo :D
If we just played like I told them at the beginning, this was gonna be a piece of cake, especially with the D making a bad investigation today.

The plan, after Melo got suspected, was to make it a fight between Melo and JBF and to wait for the D to show up and try to save JBF. We knew that JBF was investigated.
JBF was our #1 target for recruitment, simply because he was a confirmed C.

But plans rarely work with this group. If you check again, the detective Rab wasn't even here in the hour before the deadline, nor he was here after the deadline. If JBF risked lynching, the D wasn't gonna be here to save him.

That's why sometimes it's better not to think with your head but with the head of the average mafia player. An average mafia player will kill Hoori and an average mafia player will be fooled into not voting for me even if I was the prime suspect when Melo is confirmed a G.

P.S: Plus, you knew I was a G, they didn't. Different perspective.
I totally agree in general, to think like an average mafia player, which in this crowd tend to be too lazy or straight forward (I mean FFS, 30 pages over the Hoori nonsense?). And the bolded part, yeah I knew you were a confirmed G, but I was actually rooting for the Gs, and trying to sense what can give you away, what gave Melo away was obvious, and I was looking for something they can get on you, nothing had given you away until you strongly indirectly backed Melo (JBF even asked you why you are ignoring how Melo incriminated himself with Kyle, you pretended like you didnt read it at all, thankfully for you, JBF didnt push there). It was too risky, because until then, they were just suspecting you for being Alen the overall mafia player (your reputation, same reputation that unbelieveably killed off Hoori), not for really having had incriminated yourself. Your only danger was if you had been investigated. That was until you went after Kyle in irrational way (plus it wasnt helping you any when you decided to play the suspicious "lets lync useless inactive players" angle). Maybe didnt give yourself away to most, but atleast to Kyle, and select few others.

I wasn't pretending. I really didn't see that part

When JBF sent me the link the first thing I did was to write the "MELO, DON'T SEND PMS TO PEOPLE!!!!" PM :D

I was already very suspicious of you the first day but when I accused Melo and you went along with it for a short bit before subtly trying to turn the focus over to JBF and then turning it away from both of them made me certain you were G and that Melo was one too. All I had to do was survive this night and prove that I was a C and hopefully the BG would have protected me so I could come after you.

Honestly I was surprised by how much attention my comment got. I can see how it was a stupid thing to say in a game like this but I was really shocked at how many of the Cs voted for me like that. I had hoped they wouldn't be trusting you after the first day.

I think the weirdest question he asked me over PM was if I hypothetically were G would I recruit him.

Wtf was up with that Melo? were you considering recruiting me? :D

Aha ok, then I get it, was thinking why you werent trying to manipulate JBF when he was trying to suss you out with that angle, and suprised you simply seemed to ignore it like it didnt happen. As I said, fairly imcriminating :D Not for sending the pms, but how he reacted to Kyle putting him on the spot in the thread, sweating his balls off :D
