It is indeed a slow & torturous(sp) rally. In fact the slowest in the whole calendar. Plenty of rough & winding roads too. Needs a sensible head to win in Cyprus.
And don't forget the heat!

Phuiff....it's gonna be a real tough for Citroen  Markko Martin will be good at this rally, and Gronholm and Solberg...again! oh my...:scared:

I will be using this :scared: a lot when it comes to tarmac but I hope Mitsubishi will have done something so that Panizzi can challenge Loeb :)
I hope Petter & Subaru take advantage of the gravel rallies to put daylight between them & the rest.

Naw, finally Peugeot has solved most of it's problems so maybe couple of Peugeot one-twos are on their way.

Is Subaru going to bring a new car anytime soon? Or have I missed something.

When is Skoda supposed to be back in action? Acropolis? Hopefully they don't end up being a Mitsubishi mk2.
Ah, Skoda Octavia! Still with their drivers Toni Gardemeister and Erikkson?

Too bad we're missing Makinen, Burns and Auriol...
btw, anybody heard the news about Richard Burns? How is he now?
    Hope he's getting better :)

Cyprus, rally of the Million Rocks

    After Day 1
    1. Marcus Grönholm 1.57.24,6
    2. Harri Rovanperä - 10,7
    3. Sebastien Loeb - 20,1
    4. Markko Märtin - 21,0
    5. Carlos Sainz - 26,7
    6. Mikko Hirvonen - 2.39,1
    7. Janne Tuohino - 4.19,5
    8. Gilles Panizzi - 4.21,9
    9. Henning Solberg - 5.39,5
    10. Antony Warmbold - 7.46,5
    11. Petter Solberg - 9.32,4
Solberg had major radiator problems and Grönholm lost his clutch. Duval lost his left front wheel. So it's Peugeot and Finland one and two, wishing it'll stay like this:cool:

Crap, Rovanperä's gearbox ain't the fittest. He's now 5th with over minute down on Grönholm.

Now let's just hope the Loeb drives like crap for the rest of the year.
    And Peugeot runs fine:cool:

Damn, local races took my time and haven't followed Cyprus and Acropolis properly.
