It's here again :D Will Peugot dominate again? Will Solberg break their stranglehold? How will Makinen perform this year? Will McRae cut it at Citroen?
Monte Carlo is here and with the shakedown completed all teams are raring to go. Let me know what you think :)

After 3 stages there is no sign of a Gronholm let off as he cruises to an early lead after winning the first two stages. Loeb grabs the 3rd stage.
Seems like Loeb is putting up a fight.

    Summary Day 1
Day 1 is over and after 6 gruelling stages the top 10 stands like this:
    LEADERBOARD
    1. M GRÖNHOLM 2:07:24.7

    2. S LOEB +20.6

    3. C MCRAE +1:16.6

    4. R BURNS +1:53.9

    5. C SAINZ +1:55.7

    6. M MÄRTIN +2:30.7

    7. C ROBERT +4:41.1

    8. A SCHWARZ +5:03.8

    9. R KRESTA +5:09.1

    10. F LOIX +7:25.8

Both Subaru's retired at SS5  However Sebastien Loeb has had a fantastic drive and reduced Gronholm's lead to only 20.6 seconds which should usher in a wonderful Day 2.

i hearda citroen got 1,2,3 in a race
It comes as no surprise because the car is fine tuned for the asphalt surface so they will dominate this type of events. Remember out of 14 rallies asphalt surfaces cover about 5 of them and they may only dominate at Monte Carlo so it's still wide open.
