This year's winner is a picture of US photographer Spencer Platt of Getty Images. the picture is taken in Beirut during the war in the summer.

I like those football player portraits. Ronaldo, Zidane, Puyol, they all look pissed off. Except for Ronaldinho who has a sunshine smile.
