didn't see the match just the highlights so can't comment on the analysis part, the bottom line is still something i can agree with: xg/stats are often misleading

I started watching when the second goal was ruled for offside. The Argies never looked like they were going to win. The Saudis on the other hand were giving it a good go. The win was a surprise, but they poured their heart into that performance.

They sure looked like winning the first 10 minutes. Argentina are mentally frail, but with a bit of luck they'd have won 5-0 yesterday.

That being said it's no coincidence that Hervé Renard is doing something right with this Saudi team. The man has an incredible track record.
