It's interesting that all these European born Moroccon players pledge their allegiance to Morocco while it's not quite the case with players of West/Central African descent playing for European countries.

I mean guys like Hakimi or Ziyech would walk into Spain and Netherlands NT respectively yet they chose to represent Morocco. Very interesting.
Why would they want to play for spares like Spain and Netherlands :snoop:

First generation Arab, Indian and Asian immigrants are brought up with strong ties to their homeland/culture. Religion also plays a role, for Arabs and Indians at least.

Morocco got their opportunistic goal from a win-the-ball failure and a goalie error on a dangerous delivery. Portugal is offering very little in attack… the Morocco defensive discipline and organization is that good. Their passing decisions seem forced between a lot of Moroccan legs.

This will be a good challenge. Santos needs to make some subs to shake things up. Portugal hasn’t trailed before in this cup and needs to prove they can come back to be worthy of ever going further.

And they need to knock off the annoying charity pleas… that’s not helping. Otávio is being more annoying than useful. We got rid of Brazil already for that nonsense.

Morocco needs to keep calm and follow their game plan.

@Seven Looks like your NT was in a much tougher group than it looked at first.

It is indeed. So far a clean sheet against Belgium, Croatia, Spain and Portugal.
Let's see if they can survive Cristiano Ronaldo in the second half.
