Australia deserved the equalizer. Argentina is so so shit.
No, they didn't. They're just an abysmal team to watch, hacking away at the opposition players at their heart's content. Don't get me wrong - Argentina are shit, but Australia were atrocious. Respect for the Aussies for trying to make a game out of it though.

The standard of the international game is in serious decline and has been for the better part of a decade tbh.

Not just international football, clubs too. Its a failing industry.

Don't think it's a failing industry. The wrestling industry for example is absolutely trash, the quality sucks yet it's making more money than ever before. Same with football.

Maybe we've just become too old for this. It's probably more appealing to Gen Z but a lot of old people have stopped watching football or even sports in general. We're slowly heading down that phase it seems.

Are you for real? He plays Messi's position...
messi for the nt is mostly a central player, the typical false 9 that he played with guardiola. lautaro is a 9, so messi has to play a bit more wide to confort him when martinez is on the pitch.

dybala would be a better fit with a central messi as dybala is the best when he can play a sort of inverted player from the right (not a winger, different skills and tasks, but the positioning is similar)

i also think it's purely personal to not play dybala. i have no idea why they even called him up

Maybe because he's an even bigger pansy than lautardo

Yes, I know papi, and I wanted Argentina to win but my inner Messi hater got the best of me.

Look at the goal Messi scored last night. That's exactly where Dybala would be if he was on the pitch.
