Like half of the teams in the entire tournament are European.

I'll always prefer a Senegal, Japan, Ghana or USA ahead of France, Germany, Spain and especially England, but lets face it - the latter are still much better. Some of them will fuck up from time to time, like the Germans this year, but most of the others still make it to the latest stages.

Pretty natural to root for the underdog. Personally i would rather have a Japanese team filled with hard work and passion than some arrogant Germans, strolling around barely giving a fu#k focusing more on LGTB than playing football

I actually hoped CR would win, I dont care for Spain or most of other European sides. But the fact is as stated and supported by winners, finalists, semifinalists, Football is Eurocentric. If anything I find it selfish from Americans thinking they could be the best at everything. You already have your version of football, that no one cares about. Give it a rest.

Asian or even African teams are not the cream of the crop. These teams are not built to win world cups but there has been genuine improvement in the results over the past few years especially with Asian teams.

We need to acknowledge that smaller teams have improved rather than saying stupid shit like European teams losing on purpose so that they could get an easier draw.
