Messi is dead.

There is nothing Legitimate in him anymore.
He's sick-dead.

He's a godforsaken curio without any breath in it.

He's nothing at all.
He's dead.

Shrunken up to skin.

Dead.
His eyes rolled up out of the light - A mockery.

Just bury it and hide his face in
shame.

How much time has passed since Argentina produced a top midfielder, who wasn't a DM? In 2010 they only had a 35 yo Veron. In 2014 they had noone (which makes their result quite extraordinary). In 2018 they still don't have a playmaker.
You have to go all the way back to mid 2000s to find Riquelme, Aimar and Veron.
Banega is about the closest thing they have to a play maker right now, its almost quite disgusting that he didn't start either games.

also, wtf is that team for Argentina? Mascherano came back from the dead to play, then there is Perez whos bang average, Meza who? Acuna and Salvio? Lo Celso doesent play after the season he had in Paris, Pastore not even called up, Paredes as well. Dybala benched, Icardi left home. Otamendi, Marcado, Tagliafico (whats with his name ffs) in defense and worst of all, Caballero  id assemble a team of players they left home and beat this crap team

Argentina have pretty deep issues. A real shame. Any team that has Messi, Aguero, Dybala and Higuain should manage to compete.

Pretty funny everybody here wanted Dybala to come on. To do what exactly? I'd prefer him not to ever play in a team with this many issues.
