Really? I liked that game. Mostly because of the intensity I guess, so maybe you have a point.

Germany didn't win and all was well again.
why? i liked it a lot, it was a surprisingly open, yet tactically interesting game.
This and the speed/intensity especially in first half.
I did have to miss the large majority of the first half, so maybe that's why. But I feel it would've been better had Germany performed more to their standard. It wasn't a BAD game, just below my expectations.

As in its an incident leading up to a goal? That would be quite some refereeing if they reviewed and cancelled a freekick after it has been scored
Not after, you idiot.

It can be used to see if an attacking player commited a foul leading up to a goal.

But in this case the foul on Falcao and the goal are two different situations, so VAR is not useable. The rules are clear in this regard.
Don’t be retarded. The freekick should not have been given. I never said they should review after the goal.

Fully deserved win by Japan.

That's what you get when you erroneously take off your main counter atacking threat in Cuadrado, imo this loss is as much on the coach as on Colombia's sloppy defending.

So every freekick is a VAR incident? Or there's a specific zone? Go educate yourself before calling others idiots.
This was a freekick in a very dangerous position. The ref fucked up totally. And it has nothing to do with education. I never said anything about the rules, but how it works here contra Serie A. Learn to read before you comment.
