:agree:

Danish footballers and Dutch football have a long and great history; add Krohn-Dehli, Zanka Jørgensen, Nicolai Jørgensen and Fischer to the mix as well.

Yeah, a lot of tourists tell that Copenhagen is quite similar to Amsterdam. Really need to visit Copenhagen once

Any idea how the Danish starting 11 look like?

Regarding yesterday's game , i think Spain played really well even though they dint get that desired result. Two of the goals they conceded were avoidable mistakes. They really have to be wary of teams on the counter though. Imagine playing that high-line against a more potent team like France or Brazil. Their slow defenders will get buried.

As for Portugal, them and Ronaldo got their 'moment' i guess. Not too impressed by them tbh. I dont expect them to do much now going forward. R16 exit against Uruguay incoming :baus:

Portugal deserved to draw that game. Ronaldo set up Guedes for another big chance and Quaresma would have finished it if not for that amazing Koke tackle.

In terms of chances this was a very evenly balanced game, just different ways to create them.

There's also the fact Spain's goal could easily have been disallowed for the foul on Pepe. I probably wouldn't have called it myself, because I think Pepe went down way too easily for someone who tries to bury attackers every chance he gets. But most pundits say it should not have stood.

Spain have a lot of work to do to improve imo. Portugal do not generally score that many goals. I know it's the monster, but still.

Both cities have a very similar vibe. Laid back, kool. Cph a bit more hipsterish..

Schmeichel; Dalsgaard, Christensen, Kjær, Stryger Larsen; Kvist (id rather Schøne), Delaney, Eriksen; Youssef Poulsen, Nicolai Jørgensen, Sisto or Braithwaite.

Pavard at RB is a good choice by DD. Outperformed Sidibe in the last two friendlies so its good to see him get the nod ahead of Sidibe.

Very good prospect for France. Think he's Bayern Bound tho.

So much potential mixed with not that much experience, this France team is one totally unpredictable side, they could just aswell crash out of group stages or even go on and win the whole tournament, even tho i do expect DD to lead them to the later stages, there's no doubt it won't be an easy task, lack of maturity could very well be their downfall against some of the more experienced sides.

Hard to imagine they could bottle it against Australia tho. :p

I still think Isco was the best player on the park and the Spain midfield largely ran the show, but Ronaldo put the ball in the net 3 times including a nice late fk so he grabs all the headlines.

It was a good game though.
