Only forum to talk about Asian football
Well I don't blame you. Iran did not concede until last game of qualifiers which was a meanings game anyway as they had already qualified. But as I said there has been a change a tactics and they are trying not to park the bus anymore.

Why? Don’t you guys still have the same former Madrid coach? I had watched Iran vs Uzbekistan legs and their defense were very solid to me.

Yes he's the coach but he's aiming for more than just getting a draw versus good teams etc. So we are not parking the bus anymore and are trying to press higher.

Morocco's midfield is a bit too much of the same. You've got 3 AMC's with Ziyech, Bousouffa, Belhanda who ask for the ball and try to make the play but barely move without the ball. They really need a traditional B2B-mid to join in attack.

I was very surprised to see them all play. I already think Boussoufa en Ziyech is too much of the same tbh.

Yeah, I don't follow the players except Ziyech but I do think they either need a traditional winger or a b2b mid to have more numbers in attack.

Oh of course that makes sense. But we won’t see this same style vs Portugal or Spain right? If you guys were to get a win here of course.

We did well on friendlies. Brazil usually step up to the plate on the big stage but we’ll see what happens now. I’m quite curious to see if the squad is mentally over 2014. It’s a well balanced and talented team but have to be strong minded like the Seleções of the past.
