We’re the hillbillies yet majority of Persian scholars come from our country hmmmmm
That's some serious bullshit sir. And by the way Iranian defense looked shaky recently, when they moved away from parking the bus and started pressing a little bit higher.
I love Iran to go through but I'd give it a 5% chance at best.

I've met a few Afghans during asylum procedures and.. Describing them as 'hilbillies' is being nice to be honest. Are there big differences in general level of education between different parts of the country?

Morocco might shock Portugal :boh: :numnum:

The Asian teams are all trash.
All possible, IMO. Portugal has such aging legs at CB, save for Dias (if they're smart, they'll try to make him a regular starter -- they won't). A lot hinges on their ability to keep a controlled scoreline at the back. I expect Spain to make a 2-0 or so non-event out of them, but Morocco has the quality and talent to surprise (Slimani knows many of those clowns, etc.).

I went to see Roma-Napoli in 2016 and Salah created quite a few chances for Roma that game. Frustratingly wasteful at that point though.
The big pivot for Salah this season seemed to be making him into a major goal scorer and less of a setup man.

The garbage teams in that group are Australia and Peru, although I expect Peru to potentially surprise Denmark or France.
Nothing personal to my Ozzy friends, but damn the degree of public reporting and scrutiny about the Socceroos is even more outsized for their level of talent than England is.

One minute played of Morocco and Iran. Already the best game of the tournament.
