Everything can happen, but I still expect Europe to go strong. Sweden and Poland are in very tricky groups, while a European team in groups with Brazil and Argentina (Croatia/Iceland, Serbia/Switzerland) getting eliminated won't be a surprise at all. Russia will make the knockouts, this way or another. Denmark did 80% of the job with the win over Peru.
In 2010 and 2014 only 6/13 Europeans made the knockouts. This year the number will most probably be (much) higher. Maybe 11/14 or at worst 10/14.

that's the point i guess. it's basically a tournament held in europe so i expect european teams to do well. i wouldn't be surprised if brazil were the only non-european team to make it to the semifinals.

I think you feel with the german NT like I feel with the danish one.

Its a pretty "meh" feeling. The Danish NT never really interested me much. I wish them to do well, but I dont feel that hype from them as many other danes do.
