As I said in the general comments thread, this WC of go-for-broke in the group stages has now ground down to cagey, measured conservatism in the knock-outs. Now it's becoming just your usual WC.
I hope this changes in the next round where every team must've taken some sort of confidence with them that'll make for more initiative. If not, we'll be fucked!
