That's a matter of perception.

Throwing a bag of money to Barcelona and taking one of their players would give another dimension to the whole transfer as well.

"Here you poor fellas, we got plenty of the King's fortune"
If Real want to do that kind of idiotic thing, then I say, let them do it. That's a winning situation for Barca, they lose a player that has been hindering their progress, and Real spend more money to secure a player who will not help them at all.

Ian - that's true. And, nice avatar :thumb:

Zlatan - Ajax is unlikely, they could never afford his salary
Yeah, but maybe he would do the same as Davids, lower his demands in order to go where he would be played.

there's nowhere for kluivert to go...real won't buy him(raul/ronaldo>kluivert),man utd just bought saha, arsenal and ajax don't have the money, inter are gonna have to cut costs soon with their money tree's resignation and milan got too many forwards already.

i cab see his career going downhill from here.heck,it's been going downhill for some time already.

He only costs 1.4 million, or something ridiculously small like that, and Wenger has 10 million to spend in the market. Arsenal could definitely take him, and what about Roma, Stuttgard, or even Rangers?

it's not so much the transfer fee,but the wages.not even man utd pay 90k a week for someone who isn't exactly hot property on the market at the moment.and roma don't exactly need him, do they?they have support forwards in totti and cassano.

stuttgart and rangers? can you imagine kluivert accepting a contract from them?:howler::D

Roma need another big man, as they only have Carew and despite his recent run of form, Kluivert is much better than him.

And Kluivert is a more intelligent man than most people think. Stuttgard would offer him the chance of champion's league football. So would Rangers, and both of those clubs are in need of some forwards.

And above everything, a footballer wants to play. If he can do so in a decent competition AND with more than reasonable chances of CL football then that's a good deal.

You forget Chelsea though. With Abramovic, anything can happen.
Especially with Hasselbaink and Gudjohnsen rumoured to be leaving at the end of this season...

We should pick up Eidur. He'd be a perfect back-up to Trezeguet.

I definitely think that Eidur could be just as good as Trez. He finishes as well, but he's fsater, has better technique, and he can pass. The only problem is that he might take up a non-EU spot...
