Oh yeah, it snows a lot in Ohio. You also have the pleasure of experiencing something called Lake Effect Snow which happens due to strong wind smashing into moist air over the Great Lakes, so heavy snowfall in places along the lakes is possible when the conditions are ripe. You also have to deal with the usual major storms, too.

And I'm not sure what you mean by European winter, but our winter is during the same period of time, chief.

I havent minded winter for ages, been mellow enough for our standards for a while (south europeans would prolly freeze their balls off), but still, its never nice to get accostumed to the first day of snow, as today was (though rainish snow, will melt quickly).

The killer was getting out of the library, and suddenly being hit by the coldest snowy wind I felt all year long in the face. My friends were like, "come on, its still Autumn!" Some of the chicks were wearing short skirts, well planned

Pretty much the same here. Had to bicycle in headwind from Nyby to Boländerna with typical autumn clothes. I was svennevit when I arrived.

You must have missed the Cinci race riots of 2001. Cleveland isn't too great either. Ohio is like Michigan. The whites put up with the blacks so long as they stay downtown.
