Cos that's the only game everyone mentions when they talk about DP's brilliant season.

Yes of course Trez does depend on others to score, but he gets the job done and that's his only job.

DP must create and do neat things with the ball but he doesn't enough (once every ten games maybe?) And this is a fact you can also check from his average ratings ;)

Once every ten games by bum now your being illogical ZizouYou know that Zlatan was playing supporting striker when Trez was injured so it was del pieros job to play finisher thats why he wasnt creating as much but you cant say that once every ten gaes thats rubbish and if you dont wanna mention milan i can mention siena when he did that backheel or against Cagliari he was setting up like crazy

that's easy we don't need them any more and they didn't scored 16 this season

and they r not Alessandro Del piero
And why don't we need them anymore? Cos they don't perform anymore.

And seriously what do 3 defenders and a retired goalkeeper have to do with scoring goals? Is that your argument?

You're right. You mentioned 3 games out of 38, therefore he performed once every 12 games not 10. My apologies for the previous mistake.

And when Trez was not playing, Zlatan was playing as first striker not DP ;)

u r the one who mention Rampulla and we don't need montero becasue we have Cannavaro now and he wants to leave by the way

and about the Performance Del piero didn't play that bad this season
and may be if he did some games that's just because all the team didn't Perform well

Enough with these rubbish posts Zizou, Each time you can't handle a Dp debate you start sayin he plays 1 good match in 10games, Shall I name you the good games he played this year and we'll see wether he played like you just said...CUT IT OFF....Jeez!!

Average ratings??? I though you don't care about ratings and statics, Fine lets talk about Statics, He's the Italian Serie A MVP....

It's cool with me If you wanna talk about Ratings and Statics...lets go on..

Zizou, you don't like Del Piero. That's fine.
Denying he was influential isn't.
A lot of his goals were game winners. That's fact.
Don't start blattering about how he didn't change games etcetera.
His goals were game winners. Period.

somebody here said that when Trezeguet taps a goal in its luck and skills of the passer but when del piero does it it is great possitioning and awareness and scoring ability
That definitely wasn't me.

Yeah, we hear that crap a lot around here. Just take a look at the Bayern match.

We don't hear that crap a lot around here at all. I don't think anyone in the right state of mind would say that. And guess what, Del Piero was more influential than Zlatan in the Bayern goal. Why? Because DP was the guy that tapped it in.

Not to forget that it wasn't an assist actually, Zlatan shot it and Del Piero rebound it.

No, we do hear that around here. Too many people who do not respect the services of Trezeguet slag him off and take away from his talent of finishing off chances, yet many of these same people are DP fans who say his tap in goals are wondeful pieces of intervention. I have seen this double standard in action frequently around here, especially in debates. Now we have a season where Del Piero took over for Trezeguet in roaming around the goal mouth, and Ale gets oh so much praise for it. The same posters who state Trezeguet is "worthless" now defend Del Piero's limited performances in which he scored several tap-in goals. I'm sorry but the double standard is obvious.
