Kagawa and Chicharito?
They're both immensely overrated.

Moyes and Ferguson get a lot of shit for not playing Jinji, but in fact nearly every time he did play he really didn't impress (Norwich being the obvious exception). For 15 million or similar he'd br okay, but I'm not convinced he could ever regain his BVB form.

German players are damn overrated. They mainly shine in well-organized teams. Lahm is the exception.
Berardi is not worse than all the german attacking midfielders we are linked with.
I'd say Juve are pretty damn well organized, so even if what you are saying were true, it wouldn't matter.

Kagawa has literally shown nothing since moving out of his comfort Zone in dortmund

Chicharito is nothing but a poacher, who's not that good at finishing and completely useless in games where his team aren't dominating.

Imagine us against Bayern last year, with even less hold up play with our strikers and no link up play whatsoever.

kroos won't join a team that got him injured before the quarterfinals and finals of the champions league where he could have been a starter.
Yeah Kroos will definitely hold a grudge against us for that

pls stop.

Criticism? I am not denying the fact that germans have done a huge job in their youth sector in recent years.
The other fact is that they know how to advertise their youth players, to put them in the right-bright package.
On the other hand italians treat their own youth badly and give their players a bad name themselves.
I don't really think that current german talents are so superior to italian. They just have more of them and advertise them better.

I think a lot of it is simply down to it being easier to be an attacking player in Germany than it is in Italy, from the point of view of German's presenting their youngsters in the best possible light.

Yeah, it was, it is and it will be easier.
How about defenders? Do you rate Hummels?
Will he play any better in our 3 men defense instead of Bon? I have many doubts bout it.

The germans I rate except Lahm are Khedira and Reus. Really good players.

Hummels is overrated, definitely. I've watched quite a bit of him he's like a suprior version of Bonucci who makes equally bad blunders at a similar date.

Reus is fantastic, Kroos is very talented. Khedira is much better for the NT than he is at Madrid. Lahm is World Class, as is Schweiny when fit.

Hummels is better than Bonucci, but not by enough to justify how much he'd cost.

Thomas Muller is the one I really like.

Only rate Khedira when he is playing in a role/system that gives him the freedom to really go box-to-box. Don't think he's much use when asked to play in a more disciplined role.

Oh, how could i forgot Schweinsteiger. He has been in a beast mode for years.

Muller? He is a smart player. It's the most important characteristic of his. Not so much talent in him.

It's easier to develop players in attack than defence and that's why Germany have a superb attacking squad. however, they do give a good chance to their youngsters often giving them 1st choice in their squad just like Bayern did with alaba last year and it turned out to be fantastic. if only juve did that with top talents that are coming out we would have a super squad. If Bayern were able to develop players like muller, kroos, alaba, sweinsteiger, lahm so can we. Italy does not lack of talents its just the case of finding them and develop them.

Aside of Boateng and Lahm they have been lacking real defensive talent, that is true.

Don't know a meaning of a top-talent. How can it be described? Nobody knows until future shows.
I see Berardi as a huge talent.
For example if Immobile played for Borussia he maybe would score as much as Lewa. Who knows. But I rate Ciro highly.
It's often just about being in the right time in the right place under the right coach.

This.
There are always so many crying out that we don't give a chance to the youth, but they always fail to mention any actual players we should have given that chance.
It could be that we never find them in the first place because we do not trust them.

We just maybe let go a lot of players that had the latent potential to be something else... but were dished becuse no one had that eye to spot their talents.

IM wild guessing btw.

We brought Peluso for 5m last season when we should have brought someone like santon, rodriguez, digne for around 10-12m and should have integrated them into our team.

forgot to mention padoin for 4m

- - - Updated - - -

so that would be 9m combined on you below average player where you could have got a young good leftback like santon for 13m and developed him into a good leftback.

i bet you hadn't even heard of rodriguez, santon and digne before we signed peluso

and how does one 'develop' a good left back into a good left back?

Nevermind all the other things wrong with this post, we weren't even playing a formation requiring a left back.
