I don't think it's possible for Tevez, Llorente AND Osvaldo to play in the same line up is it?

4-3-2-1 perhaps.

Well, i'm going to choose to be optimistic here, and hope that we're bringing Osvaldo in to improve our chances of winning the Europa league. Because the other scenarios depress me.

like the wise man Lippi has said, Juve are missing something to win CL, we should figure out what that is, instead of this petty talk about Vucini or Giovinco, how can we really improve our team given our economic limitations?
Well I think something that could helped us take our game to the next level and given us true point of difference just signed for Man United...Mata could have been that element we have been missing.

Osvaldo on the other hand doesn't give us anything we need right now or in the future. Llorente and Tevez are a level above him and Osvaldo isn't going to like sitting on the bench and even when he comes on, I don't see him being any better than Quagliarella. In fact, save the money, keep Quags and give him more playing time and just sell Vucinic and Giovinco. Then look for another sub who can make a difference.

The Osvaldo money that is rumoured is a joke! If we did spend this kind of money then just forget about the good work Marotta has done over the past two markets...this will cancel everything out!

"Lippi: No Italian team will win the Champions League in next 10 years"

Please conte disprove him.

He added: "I don't know whether Juventus will sell Pogba or Vidal at the end of the season. All I know is that my Juventus sold one or two important players each year..."

Pogba has been heavily linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain, while Vidal has caught the attention of a number of Premier League clubs.

If Porto could win it in '04, there's always a chance.
This is what people forget.

There have been outsiders win the CL and there have been some pretty indifferent teams who have managed to get to the final (who could have won - anything can happen in a one-off game).

You can certainly argue that no Italian team is likely to be among the favourites to win the CL for the foreseeable future, but nothing more concrete than that.

And anyway, I still don't see many teams around who are better than Juve.

For me, this has been the downfall of Italian clubs, so happy to sell, as if they are the smartest ones out there and will easily replace the outgoing players. And total disregard to fan attachments to players.

I dont think what Lippi was talking about there is the actual strength of team squads. Its not just that, as that is a given. But more of how the whole state of Italian football has gone to shit with barely any shatter of its former image.

Only corruption, obsolete stadiums and the good old 'defensive mentality' are stuck in people's heads whenever Italy's football is brought up.

we sold baggio but had del piero who proved his worth that season. we sold zidane and inzaghi but brought in nedved, buffon, thuram, salas with that cash and had trez waiting to take over inzaghi. we sold vialli and ravs, but brought in boskic and a young vieri. We sold Vieri and Boskic but brought in inzaghi and kovacevic.

Under Moggi, we sold important players but he always had the right players to come in who were ready to take that next step.

My concern with Marotta is that we sell pogba for big bucks, what do we get? OR, he pockets the money and just utilises marchisio in that role and maybe gets a LWB cheap to free up Asamoah.

What a boring mercato, but I guess we didn't really need anything this January.

@Mark Do you know what youngsters we've wrapped up this transfer window?

Any info on Zappacosta and Baselli?
Zappacosta is practically done even if they don't mention it. He retweeted me when I said welcome to Juve. :p
Baselli is a battle with the viola rats.
