You missed the point? None of us was screaming for Cavani, when he was playing in Palermo. Even our management, who had a deal to bring him in, chose not to at bought Amauri instead, which turned out to be a pretty bad decision. But i can't say i saw that one coming. Amauri was outshining Cavani in Palermo, he scored magnificent goals and a proper amount of them, so i thought we actually had got ourselves a pretty decent striker, which he also was for the first six months....
you are missing my point. the objective is not to look for already established players but to look for the next big thing. Talented players don't always shine as much as a 26-27 year old top international but you can see the talent is there. however with the likes with berardi and iturbe you can see that there will become the 30 million euro player that juve is looking for. Why? because they are destroying serie A into pieces at ages of 19 and 21. that is what we should look for not players like baselli or kepmt which have shown just little in serie A and bundesliga.

bring iturbe, berardi and gabbiadini. develop berardi to be our reus, iturbe into our sanchez and gabbiadini into our lewadolski. Youth is the only answer unless we sell pogba for 80m. but if we develop our players like Dortmund or Porto then we would have a world class attack. I mean if juve brought an unproven sanchez that played in argentina everyone would say that he won't turn into anything but we all know that he has turned into a top class player. same thing with iturbe and berardi. gabbiaidni is a bit less talented but still capable of becoming a player of at least manzukic type of level which is good enough.

Buffon
Litchsteiner Barzagli Chiellini Rodriguez
Vidal Pirlo Pogba
Iturbe Gabbiadini Berardi
Nice one.

I didn't state anything regarding the discussion of who we should look for. I, for myself, think we should keep trying to make deals like for Vidal and Pogba ect. as much as possible. But he states a fact, which isn't an opinion: Players in clubs like Real Madrid, Chelsea or Bayern are often very good, but they just as often get hyped even more, but we don't HAVE to buy from other top clubs in order to get top players. That's why i believe you misunderstood him, because all he said was, that there are plenty good players out there, who people doesn't want to see because they haven't got their breakthrough in a big club yet, but that doesn't mean they doesn't have what it takes. It's about to spot the potential before the other top clubs.

I could have misunderstood him aswell, but i think Cavani is a prime example of a player, that no one rated when he first played at Palermo. Not one were saying "oh that Cavani guy will turn out a superstar"... But when he suddenly begun to tear the league apart and screw every defender who tried to stop him from being the beast he is - then suddenly, everyone could see his potential and everyone wanted him at their club. But there are plenty 'Cavanis' out there, just waiting to unleash the beast in a top club - but it takes a great man to spot it and a great coach and club to develop him. That why we are so lucky to have :beppe: and Conte.

Only Pogba is destroying Serie A at the age of 20. No one else that young is on his level. Lettuce be real

we are lucky to have marotta? marotta was the guy who signed amauri for 20 million and Martinez for 15 million , felippe melo for 30 million. we are lucky to have him?. no

it was actually nedved that discovered pogba and vidal and it is him that is saving our ass. the agent of pogba Mino Raiola, refuses to cooperate with marotta. thanks to nedved we have 3 of the best midfielders in the world. Conte is the guy which actually uses these players to the max. #

Anyways when cavani was at Palermo we all saw his potential but I agree no one said that he is going to be a superbstar. however with the linkes of berardi and iturbe we do say that they are going to be superstars so that's why we should buy and develop them. I would rather play berardi and gabbiadini and develop them instead of playing a 30 year old tevez which does nothing in the champions league.

my point was that instead of selling pogba for 70 million let's deveop players like berardi, iturbe and gabbiadini into our top class attack instead of getting the likes of cerci, menez or nani. follow the example of Dortmund, shakhtar, porto or bilbao

Getting a Nani or Menez type, will not hinder Berardi's decelopment elsewhere Raki. I think Juve and Conte are open to thinking in the way you're describing, and they're not necessarily hurting the players by letting them grow into the pace and physicality of the game, by getting a run out week in and week out at Sassoulo or Samp. It could be detrimental to both careers, of we hurry up their learning process and throw them into the deep end while they find their feet. A talent and temperament like Pogba is hard to come by, and more the exception to the rule. Not every 20 year old can hit the ground running when faced with the burden, responsibility and demands of playing for one of the biggest sides in Europe. These players will be judged over time and given their due accordingly.
