Verratti is a huge step down from Pogba.

If AA or BM will sell Pogba they'll verify we have no ambition to be among Europe's elite.
Well it depends. If we sell Pogba for like a monstrous amount, and we reinvest it wisely, and increase the overall quality of the squad. Then it is a wise. However if we are going to reinvest the money into Verati and another cm then that would be just stupid.

When Pirlo's gone or in 4 years on a free.
Verati will cost us like 30m.

We need to move away from regista system. Marchisio in a role of a holding midfielder, or someone with even more quality is the way to go.

So your opinion is based on 90 minutes of watching?
I never said he didn't preform well, I based it off of the pricetag.

Totally agree but everyone seems to want Veratti here.

Yeah i'd much rather move away from the regista system all together

Even if Verratti does become World Class, I doubt he will be at the level of Pirlo when he first came to Juve. So we will be weaker for it. And we just become regista dependant and every single damn team we face will target that and exploit us

No more registas.

Basing off the games when Pirlo was injuried, to me it seems as though we have become far less reliant on Pirlo.

Veratti is much better defensively though.
He also commits alot more fouls

Better than Pirlo ? No.

He is only better at getting himself out of dangerous positions ,but Pirlo's positioning is still way better than Verratti's and he commits a lot of fouls too. He's got to improve in these aspects

Pirlo's playmaking abilities from that deep are not comparable to any other player in the world. I doubt anyone could ever reach his level again. The maestro is one of a kind.

I want verratti here as he seems like a really talented lad but to expect him to be like Pirlo is too much. We can have him as a central midfielder or a deep lying playmaker. He doesnt have to be a regista or play Pirlo's role to the last detail necessarily.

We dont have to replace old players with Identical ones, what matters is having a system that utilizes the talents that we have best and gets good results. Some adjustments must be made whenever a player retires unless you get his clone. Verrati would have us do minor adjustments if he is as good as the hype surrounding him suggests.

I know we're not so reliant on Pirlo now, but I am saying that we will be if we have a Regista for the next 10 years

Also, no. Verratti is a horrible defender.
4-3-3 with a midfield trio of pogba-marchisio-vidal

Yes you make good points however we should be making that leap where we acquire players that allow us to play differently. For example, wingers should be acquired before Veratti or a regista.

My problem with Verratti is, we get exploited under intense pressure right now. With Pirlo, the best of his kind. So bringing in a player who is essentially a poor mans Pirlo helps us how?

Even if Verratti does become WC, he's physically weak he can't tackle and he obviously won't be able to deal with constant pressuring. So, this would tactically limit us. It's pointless.

Veratti isnt the answer to any problem. Juve currently shouldn't be looking at him because we are being linked with Baselli, we have Bouy and we have Marrone. Everyone talks about our youth getting opportunities, well we should focus on them if we are to continue with a regista. However I'm aganist the regista idea. I think we should get a player like Nani and play a 4-3-3 with Tevez with a free role while Nani stays wide to provide crosses.
