Spurs have ruled out a loan move for Lamela apparently.

So this operation is likely for the summer.Hope he somehow doesnt become crucial to them though as that would diminish our chances of getting him.

lol that is 30m+. They bought him for 25m pounds and he has been a flop. After his time with Tottenham and with the inflated price they bought him for, I would pay between 15-20m.

Should be reasonable enough for Spurs to consider selling him though.15-18 + Vucinic would prolly do it.Remember they're letting go of a player who's still very young and has loads of talent so on his potential alone he'll attract a fair bit of value.

Make it happen Marotta, i was hoping we would have been in for him ladt summer but Conte wanted to play 5-3-2 again. Maybe Tevez can play more of a left forward role instead of left wing role. He will need to adapt his game for it.

Marchisio should he sold for that €25 million. We can hold United to ransom to pay something like €32 million for a player only worth about €20 million.

Yeah 20mln is a bit too much, I expect it be lowered to about 15.

But we're not paying only in cash here. Vucinic can fetch us 10m at least on the market if there's need to sell him. A bit too much for my liking (paying 30m for Lamela) and the likes of Di Maria might be available for that sum, probably next summer. Di Maria is superior player don't you think?

What if he isnt though ? The likes of Monaco and EPL clubs have been strongly linked to him.Do you seriously expect us to beat out such competition ?

A loan with an option to buy for say 18-20m + Vucinic going the other way seems fine to me.It depends on how high you rate him and for me he has a higher ceiling than Di Maria.Its an investment for the long term hence why i strongly suggested Jovetic signing in the summer.
