CONTRACT EXPIRES THIS SUMMER :beppe:
My fellow croatian friends telling me that he wont be out of contract then, but already having signed some kind of follow-up contract which somehow is normal there so that the club can cash in. If u know their president Mamic, then u also know, that arrangements r done not to lose one of their big talents for free and using questionable mafia-like methods if necessary.

Considering Torino is interested in Giovinco, would You favor a swap Giovinco + 1/2 Immobile for Cerci?
NO.
Let's sell Giovinco for cash. We kinda need it these days. Besides if Immobile is good enough keep him, if not sell him. We have never made a cent out of these co-ownerships so far, besides Cerci is not the player we must get at all cost.

We should try to co-own Jorginho in this winter mercato, Sogliano most probably will be Milan's sporting director in June so they'll go for him for sure.

Players like De Bruyne aren't going to improve us, not for a few years anyway

I don't understand why there's so much hype surrounding him because at club level he's done nothing and is inexperienced as hell

I'd rather not switch formations if we're buying players like this and hoping we can then match up against Europes big boys.

And before anybody says something along the lines of 'You could say that about Pogba too'

Yeah, he's a rare case. There are exceptions. But we're the Italian champions we're not in the 2nd division of Ukraine. We can't be gambling on youngsters and bringing in no 'top' players at the same time and hope that we can improve.

we dont need mandzukic but for a low fee (under 15M) i would take him. this really seems impossible, but then again never underestimate :beppe:.

as for di maria, if real madrid sold higuain for 35M then i dont see di maria leaving for under 30M too. lets hope agnelli can use his good relationship with perez and lower the price

real madrid wanted 28M from us for him early in the summer mercato but we didnt want to offer more than 24M (if i remember correctly) so why couldnt we get di maria for 25M-30M???

Because Pérez is a stone cold business man. He sold Higuaín in the end for 40M so please stop the bullocks about Pérez wanting just 28M for him.

I do think Pérez would sell Di María for 30M but I doubt we have the money for that. Heck, I don't even think we could afford Di María if he was available for 25m.

We would if we manage to sell like last summer. :beppe:

Why do people want us to change into 433? We would need attacking wingers and a leftback for that formation, sounds pretty expensive. Wouldn't it be cheaper to just improve 352, just buy some good wingbacks if there are any?

And 4312 is a no go, at least I remember how it turned out with Diego...and I had high hopes with him/that formation back then.

These players don't really exist. You won't find players in those positions that can actually attack properly and defend at the same time. There are very few (maybe none) teams that have become European giants without proper wingers.

The main problem with the 3-5-2 is that you can't counter-attack properly since your wingers are trapped back in defense. It's hard to counter with a big target man and only one moderately quick support striker. You must be able to counter in Europe or you will get ground to dust by the big teams.

There'd be many clubs interested in buying di maria if he was up for sale.We just cant compete with those teams financially.
And our early cl exit dint help either from a leverage perspective

We have leverage im buying players within serie a but unfortunately not abroad.

Maybe so. But we still can't afford to build a proper team on 433. At least with 352 we can compete in Serie A, trying to change into 433 with players not good enough would get us nowhere. Don't you agree with that?
