Personally I would prefer 4-3-3/4-2-3-1 but I just can't see it being any little bit realistic, hence why 4-3-1-2 should be a good option if we can sign one really good AM that can be a difference maker. we'd also have tevez, vucinic and vidal to step in as AM backup also.
I would probably want a more offensive LB too, that can really push foward.
for CM we could have Pogba-Vidal-Asamoah which would be very hard to break down and great at covering other players also. maybe Pirlo will renew also so he could be in CM too, maybe. Plus Marchisio and Nainggolan also.

With an AM we would probably improve our ability in the final third too.Altho in any case i'd have a backup winger if in case its needed for some tough opponents for tactical reasons.Not a bad idea until our financial situation improves but we cant go forward with a 4-3-1-2 or a 4-3-2-1 forever.

Its called keeping options open.We just cant go out there and buy any class AM if we want to.We have our own limitations.Verratti is a class player in his own right and if an opportunity crops up ,we should consider it.Plus he can play AM too.

Any playmaker we buy has to be quality whether it be CM or AM.We cant just go for cheap bargain deals on inconsistent flops in a very important position.
Keeping Pogba will also be my first priority but if PSG offered a lucrative sum i'd be very tempted especially if it involved Verratti in a cash + swap deal.

I think Tevez can be sold along with the other dead weight. Tevez cant play in a 3 man attack unless played out of position and secondly he is not the clinical goal scorer we wished he was. Llorente i am very impressed with i would like to see him as the main striker. Vucinic and Gio can be sold, Gio is not good enough and Vuc is 30 and he is still hit and miss.
We have 3 right backs Isla, Caceres and Lich. Isla is the odd player out for me as he is terrible in attack and defence. Bonucci is an accident waiting to happen in most of our games he is decent in a back 3 but if we move to back four he will be exposed to much so best off to sell him. DC11 not good enough to play more than 5 games a season for us. I like Peluso as (sub/rotation) player he gets the job done and is not bad at it.
Pirlo i would like to keep him but only as a part time player. We cant rely on 35 year olds every game it is not healthy for the team. A midfield of Vidal-Asamoah-Pogba as our main starters is pretty impressive, we have Pirlo and Marchisio to rotate in and out which are good options.
Cerci would be a decent purchase i think for us he can play right wing and through the centre and is very versatile. He would be a decent option for the right wing spot and wouldn't break the bank. We have Zaza and Berardi if we want to give a chance to youth. A LB is a must this season cant have Asamoah playing out of position all the time in a role he is not great at. Coentrao is available this summer a good LB for a reasonable price.
We are not that far off being a complete squad we just need the management to get there act together and start buying useful players.

People post formations with average players, and expect it to deliver cause it has a certain shape.
People forget that our 3-5-2 would easely lock down that formation cause licht and asamoah will win the duels, and with wingers out of the game, our very strong CM wins the battle.

Yes! We want to go back to a 4-3-3 we dont need lots of forwards for that formation. Gio sucks and Vuc is so inconsistent we would be better shipping them off. Tevez cant score he's not near clinical enough to warrant a starting spot every game and with Tevez we cant play 4-3-3 unless he plays out on the wing.
What has he done special for us in the CL? he hasn't done any thing and he is no Del Piero. Del Piero could do something special along with scoring crucial goals as well. Tevez is just a mediocre version of Del Piero and i never liked his purchase in the first place just because he limits the formations u can play with him.
