If we lose Pirlo and go to a 4-3-3 I would just rather see Asamoah go into that midfield and we get a left back. I don't want to be losing pogba, although it seems like our hierarchy have accepted that we will, sooner or later.
Pogba is getting a lot of attention, yes he is showing signs of potential greatness if he continues to grow as he is but im starting to get worried as it may get go to his head.
I don't understand why we would sell him though. We have an abundance of players who should not be at the club...we have players who are not crucial to our team who can still offer us some value. We don't need 60 plus million to rectify minimal issues within the team. We need a left back and a playmaker and potentially a long term replacement for Pirlo, or an alternative formation with him. We have Giovinco and Vucinic, both can get us a decent amount. We can get Berardi and potentially a player like Menez on a free. We can invest in a left back like Criscito and sell PDC and even a player like Padoin if we have to help pay some of that fee. And we have apparently 25 million to spend anyway, surely that can get us a decent playmaker.
And if Pirlo and Buffon are there next year again...then realistically thinking about it, why would we need to sell a player like pogba when we don't need high amounts of cash to splash on players?
