If we're gonna bring in wide players it's gotta be wingers. Enough with this WBs bs.
Agreed.

You have to switch to a 4 man defense and start by shipping out *at least* Bonucci, Isla and Giovinco to fund a new winger or two.

Ogbonna can back up Barzagli and Chiellini. Lichtsteiner and Caceres can handle RB just fine.

Right now I see our team like this for a 4-3-3:

Lichtsteiner-Barzagli-Chiellini-????
(Caceres)-(Ogbonna)-(Ogbonna)-(Peluso)
Vidal-????-Pogba
(Marchisio)(????)(Asamoah)
????-Llorente-Tevez
(Pepe)-(Vucinic)-(????)

Your top 2 priorities would be LB and RW. You could put Pogba into Pirlo's spot and put Asamoah/Marchisio at LCM but I think I'd rather shoot for the best team possible and that includes Pogba at LCM, not DM.

So you can fill DM maybe with Marchisio/Asamoah or you have to find a new player, maybe Radja. I don't want this player to be a slow regista like Alonso on a free. Let's move on from Pirlo please.

RW needs to be a great player. Bonucci + Isla should be at least 15M. Include 15M from our pockets and you can get a great player like maybe Di Maria. Take advantage of the Coentrao rumours as well please and the free DMs available.

Lichtsteiner-Barzagli-Chiellini-Coentrao
(Caceres)-(Ogbonna)-(Ogbonna)-(Peluso)
Vidal-Fernando/Matuidi-Pogba
(Marchisio)(Padoin troll)(Asamoah)
Di Maria-Llorente-Tevez
(Pepe)-(Vucinic)-(Cerci troll)

good team with a modest investment.
I like it. I'd put RW over LB as top priority though. We have nobody capable of playing RM/RW while you could somehow fill LB (Asamoah, Peluso, Ogbonna, Chiellini).

Other than that I agree.

Agree

No more Deep lying playmakers please. I'm so grateful for what Pirlo has done but we don't need a defensive liability and quite frankly don't need a DLP when we have 2 wide men who can attack as opposed to 3 CBs and 2 attackingly inept wing-backs.

Not sure who we should and could get at LB atm.
Agreed. We can live without Pirlo and Bonucci and switch to 433/4231 with good effect. In 352 we're way too dependent on Pirlo which is scary.

Next Summer is vital

If we don't move away from 3-5-2 and sell a huge amount of these 'wing backs' who are nothing but dead weight, we're as good as done as far as the CL goes.

1 CB needs to be sold, Padoin and Peluso and PDC and all that mob need to go

Bring up some youngsters for cup games and depth if needed. Spend big on players who will actually help us, we need attacking players whether it be attacking midfielders or wingers.

Look at the players who have been our very best over the last 2 seasons

Barzagli - CB
Bonucci - CB
Chiellini - CB
Lichtsteiner - RB

Marchisio - B2B CM
Vidal - B2B CM
Pirlo - Deep lying playmaker

Our offensive unit has quite frankly been mid-table.
Agreed again.

Other than that I'd propose 4231 as an alternative to 433. We know Conte will pick 433 ahead of 4231 but it is a nice alternative too.

Licht/Caceres - Barzagli/Ogbonna - Chiellini/Ogbonna - Asamoah/Peluso
Vidal/Marrone - Pogba/Marchisio
RM/Pepe - Tevez/Vidal - Vucinic/Tevez/LM
Llorente

So we basically could live with one signing - RM/RWF. It would be nice to get a proper LB an possibly LM too but I tried to put little changes to the squad knowing we don't have a big budget. If we had more money we should go for LB and LM/LWF too.

This summer however we would know that it could be buffon's last ever year plus pirlo's retirement as well so we want to go for champions league plus serie A hopefully. In order to do this we need a few players. I would go for Kolarov at Left-back, Griezmann at Left-wing, Manzukic (which is going to be benched if he stays at bayern so he would probably want to leave) and Maybe if Bale dominates the right wing spot then Di maria could be a nice option (maybe try to get tevez to convince di maria?). All of these players have salaries below 4 million which is affordable i'll say. If we don't get di maria maybe Nani or try to give berardi a chance but we know that his experience is low.

Buffon(storari)
Litchsteiner(Caceres) Barzagli(Bonucci) Chiellini(Ogbonna) Kolarov(ziegler)
Vidal(asamoah) Pirlo Pogba(Marchisio)
DiMaria(pepe/berardi) Manzukic(llorente) Griezmann(Tevez/Gio)

Pirlo doesn't like to play on the left side or any side for that matter. He rejected it while he was in Milan. And the reason he doesn't play in a more attacking role is that he's very slow and not particularly strong either. He could never work his magic there, as he would be constantly bullied by opponents DMs and CBs, something Ancelotti noticed more than 10 years ago.

decent wont cut it for us imo, we should upgrade one position and do it right, in which case we can stick with chiellini as LB and invest seriously in a more creative version of pepe
:agree: At least in Europe

Bocchetti or Criscito (if we sell one of Peluso, PDC or both); possibly Sorensen (would love to see this guy have a go under Conte's tutelage, only if we can part with Isla and possibly Motta).

Is it just me or is my feeling that we are one Vidal injury away from a disaster making me think we need a decent CM backup? Also, we must think of the post-Pirlo era, either an attacking midfielder or a regista (what I would do to get Reus here), possibly a winger, in the ilk of Menez?

Ilk of Menez? That isn't necessarily a good idea :D

Reus :tuttosport: :tuttosport: :tuttosport:

All the other names you mentioned can go suck a dick and fuck off as far away as possible from Juve. Enough with those bench quality type players.

Conte wants Biabiany in January if we pass the group stage in the Champions League this season. From what I've seen of him this year he's always looked very dangerous.
