While I think Ben Arfa is a really good player, he strikes me as a player who'd struggle in a big team. The likes of Newcastle is where he'll be spending his heyday.

That guy is the definition of everything I dislike about modern inside forwards.
why? he can play on the left without cutting inside.

he can fit in any team and make a huge diffrence.. we can't buy a player like robben or di maria but we can get a player which can do a similar job.

Meh, we haven't got time for these talents with baggage. We aren't that desperate for a little bit of magic to take someone like that on. Doesn't strike me at all as a Conte player at all.

Been pulled up for attitude problems, indifferent injury record. Almost man personified. Pass.

True, I too don't think he'll make it in a big team, unless theres a drastic shift in his attitude, work ethic and his playing style.

But he's a player you enjoy watching so long as he;s not on your team.

What level is he on?
What exactly do you mean with the level he's on? It's difficult to say right now, since he barely plays, based on the past I'd say he's on the road to becoming one of the very best. There have been moments where I actually thought he already was one of the very best.

Throughout the qualifications with the Belgian NT, he was by far the best & most important player. I'd go as far as saying that without him, we would not have been qualified yet at this moment.
Hard worker, amazing range, tireless runner, good reader of the game, brilliant at decisive passes, tactically aware & a fairly good eye for the goal as well.
Can play in a variety of (attacking) mid roles, as well as the wing. Personally, I think he can even play as a 2nd striker, if he's allowed to drop back & doesn't need to stay too high up the pitch.
Outclassed basically everyone when he played in Belgium, and from what I've been told, he was one of the better players in the Bundesliga last season (but I personally don't watch that league).

Apparently, Mourinho does not like and/or rate him at all though. Which does raise some questions.
And there seems to be a clear pattern in his performances: if he gets to play all the time, he'll deliver. Whenever he's been out of the game for a while (either because of being benched or injured), he seems to have trouble getting back to the level he's capable of. He seems to be the perfect example of a player who just needs to play all the time to be able hold on to his form. Which obviously may be difficult at the bigger clubs.

Says it all.
More important for our NT then Hazard at the moment.

De Bruyne has been excellent everywhere he played.

For Belgium, he was THE best player. Came in his first cap, we immediatly played twice as good. Has been better then Hazard and even Kompany in every game he played.

Considering his movement and intelligence, coupled with fine technique, he'll walk into every italian team without efford bar juventus.

He's better then Vucinic on a good day, and very consistant

If Chester and Buck Fuddy rate him, I say bring him in :D
While i think that Benteke would offer more currently, considering what type of player we need, De Bruyne is the most talented player of the entire Belgian NT.

forget hazard, really
