Novara. I wish we had the smarts to sell our excess effectively - guys who will never hold a genuine place in our squad.

Martinez
Motta
Castiglia
Rossi
Buchel
Immobile (in full)
Marrone (maybe?)

Ziegler (although would be a better option than DC imo)
Rubinho (maybe for next season, promote Leali to 3rd keeper)
Giovinco (for next season, promote Bonatini to 5th choice with Zaza to follow in 15/16 as our forwards age)

We can stretch over 30 million and decent amount on the wage bill by shedding them.

Conte likes Cuadrado, but Fiorentina won't sell him in January. - Di Marzio

That is the player Juve should be after.
Cuadrado would be ideal for our 433. He's a hardworking horse with a pace and really good dribbling skills. The guy beats his man quite easily. I suggested him in the summer but nobody liked the idea.

His only downside could be crossing but he's not that bad at it. Surely better than Licht. We should move for him. Give them Isla + cash or something. He'd be a very good buy.

A worry I have with Cuadrado is that maybe he shines in a team like Fiorentina, but maybe not at a club like Juventus.

Take Isla for example. He was crazy good at Udinese, and now he's shit at our club. We never get lucky with those kinds of signings.
Fiorentina aren't that dissimilar really (like Udinese are), they play with more space but they look to control games like Juve and pin back weaker teams. Cuadrado is good on the ball anyway, and actually capable of making the fabled 4-3-3 an option for this team.

Not saying Cuadrado is not good enough, but I get the feeling he's one of those players who a lot of you guys haven't seen much of.
I have watched plenty of Fiorentina games.Apart from Juve,i've only watched more Fiorentina and Napoli games and i have a solid view of Cuadrado.

Fiorentina unlike Udinese are not a one-dimensional counter-attacking team, they mostly play possession footy and are fairly capable of hitting teams on the break as well.Point is Cuadrado is fairly comfortable in possession and he is an insane dribbler ,one of the best dribblers in the league something which would bode well for the way we play.

And i dont know why people are saying his crossing is not that good ? He is one of the best if not the best crosser in the league.Period.This is not hype ,this a genuine opinion of mine about him.The only downside in his game in my view perhaps is his decision making can be bad at times(he's had a few headless chicken moments in the games i've seen him play) but he is hands down the best RWB in the league.

This summer? I really doubt that happened, many members were talking about Cuadrado, and Fiorentina not being likely to sell him to us.

Do Fiorentina have an obligation to buy his other half ?

Do we negotiate with Fiorentina or Udinese if we register an interest in him ?

No and we must negotiate with both as each of them has half of his rights. That is if you want full ownership.

Sure it is. You suppose those Bayern and Barcelona players got to where they are by being just skillful.

Quality wins you things, but there is always room for a player who will run through walls.
:agree: However, you can never have enough quality, but with players who run through walls you only need a few of them, as if you stack the team up with a lot of "Wall runners" they are eventually gonna end up bumping into something if not each other :D

Why does Pepe's penis look as if it is going sideways in that pic?! :shifty:
