That really depends

Marotta is doing this smart as allways. If nothing goes wrong, he'd get him on a free transfer in june.

However, if Pirlo OD's or pogby gets injured, there is the posibility to get him allready at januari, to avoid damage to our title bid and cl campaign

Don't understand why you wouldn't wait until he'd be available on a free anyway, it's not like you're in a crisis & absolutely need him in January.

He is, to say the least, very interesting. His game between the lines is his major strength and he's always well positioned. Even tho, he's got a lot of mobility. His ball control is superb. He's not the most agile player in the world but he's good. And he mostly makes good decisions.

He's just 22.

But that could happen. It did for the frontline in Marotta's first season at juve.

Iaquinta and Amauri were horribly bad, "comedy" as the press called, Alex was injured, Quag was out for the season.


Currently, if pirlo gets an overdose, or pogby gets a big hit, we dont got cover for the registaspot.

So, keeping talks with madrid, just in case, seems like a good precaution

Seriously though, Gian's obsession with AVB, Rossi, and Diamanti is worrisome. It is up there with the tactical flow of Zach, BA's Ansaldi obsession, Hustinki and his 4-3-3, and Turk's definition of "True Muslims."

We are well packed in every department, but we still need one quality CM and LWB.

It would be great if we could get Alonso and Zuniga for free and then use the entire transfer budget to bring in top player, like Suarez or Mata.

Three new players is all we need next summer IMO.

It's the media saying that if we want Alonso in January, Real are prepared to let him go for around 6 million, I think we will bide our time, though new reports are linking him with a return to Liverpool

If Marrota isn't thinking of signing a Gundogan like player, he's going about this all wrong.
