Mark tweeted that we're really interested in Bonaventura.

Anyone think he could be played as a LWB at Juventus?

Juve have not shown any indication whatsoever of getting another LWB, why do people keep insisting on it?
Well Asamoah didn't look like he'd play as a LWB before he came to Juventus. Asamoah is more of a CM, where as Bonaventura is more of an LM/LW. If Asamoah could have the qualities to play as a LWB, I can't see why a LW wouldn't be able too. Asamoah's defending isn't anything to brag about, I'm sure Bonaventura could do the same, and I believe Bonaventura would be better for Juventus going forward.

Bonaventura on the left, pushing Asamoah to the center would be great IMO. He would be some much added depth to the CM.

Bonaventura is an attacking midfielder, how does it make sense he would be better choice handling defensive work more then a then a DM turned wingback in Asa?

I'd beg to differ. Asamoah is not amazing defensively but he is very reliable, and that is a very rare trait, he gets the job done but he doesn't add too much when we start moving up.

We(and the merdazzurri) also want Baselli from Atalanta according to GDM.

Are you high? Asamoah is a defensive rock. Among the best defenders in the game today if you ask me.

Supposedly Mata will leave chelsea in the winter. I would love to see him here.

I don't think Asamoah was a DM. Was he?

Bonaventura is not a LWB by any stretch of the imagination. It would be akin to playing Giovinco there.
    I wouldn't go that far.

Bonaventura regularly played as a LM for Atalanta in a 4-4-2 last season.

I'd beg to differ. Asamoah is not amazing defensively but he is very reliable, and that is a very rare trait, he gets the job done but he doesn't add too much when we start moving up.

You guys are right. Asamoah is better defensively then he is going forward.

Bonaventura would probably be better offensively, and weaker defensively.

    Would you take the trade-off?

But I see what you guys are saying. Bonaventura may not be cut out to be a LWB. With a little more research I've seen when Atalanta did play a 3-5-2, he wasn't the wingback.

    Asamoah it is. :)

Did you even see him before he came to Juve? Pretty much an energetic ballwinner. You dont seem to be too sure about Bonaventura's position either, you should pay more closer attention to players :p
