here is a crazy idea... how about we loan out ronaldinho for the rest of the season. he wants a spot in the national team and probably wont get one playing in the brazilian league. he could be very useful in the cl with his experience, and for us playnig 4-3-1-2. i think under conte he could regain some of his old form (see how kaka is doing great at ACM) and give us more potions up front.

    Bruno Fernandes. Conte likes.

We liked him also before Udinese got him. Should of been faster than them.

    omfg :sergio:

since when did playing in Brazil stop anyone from getting a spot in the national side?

didn't stop bernard getting a call up before he went to shakhtar, neither did it stop the likes of Fred, Jean and Jo who also play in Brazil. Hell even Neymar received a call up to the national side whilst he was still playing for Santos

yes but the AM position where ronaldinho plays is covered with much more players so he needs to be extreamly good to receive a call-up

that still doesn't answer my question.
those players you mentioned are either young extreamly talented players who needed experience in the NT for the world cup (especially because they dont have strong games in europe), or post-prime players who only receive call-ups because they dont have any better players on their position.

scolari is not one who will discriminate against a player regardless of age and which league they play in. In Ronaldinho's case he has struggled with injuries this season, only returned yesterday and scored twice. If scolari deems him fit and still has something to offer on the international stage he will give him a call up. It's not like scolari doesn't know what he is capable of any ways since he selected him at the 2002 world cup
