agree: stfu badass

Rooney's workrate shits on beckham not to mention he went to milan when he was old and playing in the MLS so he didn't even get a proper break.
who said i was talking about rooney's work rate? I was in fact referring to the fact that he is very attached to staying in england, if he wanted to play abroad he would be either in France or Spain by now

I agree with zach. 4312 with a creative player in that CAM position is the way to go. I wish we had money for a player like Mata, or maybe even Sanchez because he had a free role in udinese, and we all saw how deadly he and DiNatale combined.

What we need is a central attacking playmaker, that is good at combining with skillfull players, so he will work well with tevez, and not against, but at the same times does his team duty.

Many with right to speak, have told that tevez-llorente has simularities with del piero - trezeguet.

Del Piero, also dropped off deep, like tevez, to help buildup. Juventus played many times with wide players during his career, but at its early peak, he had zidane behind him wich worked quite well.

For me this is the same case with tevez. he'd do mighty good with a central player behind him, that he can combine with, that can coexist in the room behind llorente. This however requires supreme intelligence.

For example, Kaka, even in this stage of decay, would be unbelievably good.

The problem however, is that the only player i can think off, that would benefit juve more then a "one year older pirlo", would be Mata.

i'm afraid we cannot afford him. but there is no pirlo replacement we can afford
Verratti and gundo are natural replacements, but out of our league
As for CAM, a player that truely makes an impact like our maestro, but is intelligent enough to co-exist with tevez ?
Ozil, Gotze and mata

For me this situation is clear

Buffon
Lichtsteiner - Barzagli - Chiellini - Asamoah

Vidal - Marchisio - Pogba

Mata

Llorente - Tevez

Marchisio allows vidal and pogba to make many offensive runs, whist mata and tevez make most of the creativity. Our fullbacks are mostly for defense and organisation, and putting pressure.
This formation allows Pogba to drift Our of the center to the left or right side, where he can make those impressibe lobbed passes/early crosses to llorente.

All in all this is an impressively balanced team, that allows vidal and pogba to play an aggressive game whilst the also technically good marchisio can govern the midfield. Tevez should be moving around llorente, and combining with mata, providing the creativity

I know Mata is impossible, but this is a wishlist, the press are making up stories about him comming here, so i tought it was appropriate to share my impossible idea.
Hamsik fits your requirements for CAM perfectly. Just another name we can't afford though.

Agreed. Conte would never use Mata in that position even if we get him, because he isn't a hard-working player.
It's not what I meant tbh. If we had Mata there'd be no way Conte wouldn't use him. I think he would play him as CAM and force to run more. Mata has so much quality it would be worth the risk.

I like your formation 4-3-1-2 with Mata. But I think that Asamoah must cover the midfield and a new LB is needed. So if we can get Mata on loan in January than we only need to buy a good LB in winter mercato. We have more options for LB position like Criscito, Kolarov, Murru, Santon... I'll be happy if we change in 4-3-1-2 in winter but hope to see, we use 4-2-3-1 after that. We need to buy wingers in the summer mercato and Griezmann and Di Maria are my favorite one.

Totally agree, but the financial situation of them is the opposite of rosy so u can forget the numbers u r using. They ll want to loan players trying to get them with option to buy (everything above 5m sounds fantasy)..sometimes Juve ll allow an option and sometimes they wont. Bremen loaned Petersen from Bayern without option and bought him after 1 season for around 3m (Bayern being generous). The actual team of Bremen is a total mess and it could be the perfect club for some Juve players to gain valuable playing time and experience. Bremen is a wonderful place for young players, as the media attention and pressure is relatively low and the club is known to be calmed and stable and mostly being patient with their players. If a loaned player totally convincing, then the chance is high, that some other German club with better financial status ll try to get him (de Bruyne).
That's what I was thinking, rather than just Bremen themselves. It opens up a shop window, and they can advise us on other players and deals. Signing young players from other teams who stay on loan there, etc.

Haven't really paid much attention to Werder Bremen but looking through their squad it really does seem to be a bit of a mess and a patched up job, even Aaron Hunt seems to be leaving. Not to much young quality for us to look at. But a team like them, as you say, it's all set up well for some of our young players (the likes of Sorensen, Bouy, Boakye, Appelt, Beltrame, etc) to get playing time and increase their standing and value.

Yes. He can play any midfield position other than DM and WB. He had a great 2012 - 2013 season at Werder Bremen on loan from Chelsea, but since being called back he hasn't featured much at all(didn't impress when he featured either). Mourinho justified the lack of game time by saying he wasn't satisfied by his performances and "the way he was in training". A loan with an option to buy would be ideal. If Conte can get the best out of him we have an option to buy a great player; if not, at least it wasn't Bendtner.
