Common....you can dislike him,but you know that he's a great striker, and his numbers speak for themselves.
Btw,his numbers are better than Mandzukic's...and both the same age.
For me either of them would be a GREAT signing,if decide to go for a ST.

I was very impressed with these 2 against France the other day, and even back in Euro '12 showed a lot of promise.

Iarmolenko would slot in well on the right side of a 4-3-3. He's a big guy with good dribbling skills, a strong shot and good pace, who likes to run at the opponents defence.

Konopylanka has been solid everytime I've caught him play as well. Really versatile forward. Great ball skills, good vision and linkup play.

I love big daddy Mirko, but if we do sell him as the rumours suggest, I wouldn't mind taking a gamble on either of these 2 for a good price.
I agree, both could be very good options,i think Konoplyanka will cost around 15-18,Yarmolenko maybe a bit more.
Mhktariyan was sold for 25 iirc, don't think they would go for higher offers.

We still lack an attacker that can really create a bit of magic on big occasions and turn games on its head.

Hopefully when we start signing new sponsorship deals and all that in 2015/16 we will get one.

by that time buffon and pirlo will be as old as heck. so no champions league unless they sit on the bench and watch.

Not convinced either are good enough for where we should be.

Both are good players but not convinced they really are of a level to take us forward. For free both look like useful players, but they seem like the would be expensive.

Yea that's a serious worry. Replacing Buffon and Barzagli won't be a simple task. I wouldn't be too worried about Pirlo we can get a different type of creative player.

i would try to sign both yarmolenko and konoplyanka. yarmolenko contract ends in 2015 so he may leave for about 18-22M and you wont get a better winger for less money. i dont know what his wages are but i think that shouldnt be a problem. if we can get both for under 35-36M that would be great. then we can play 2 formations 3-5-2 with pirlo and 4-2-3-1 with our new wingers

I think it's far from certain that they'd even be good enough to break into our first team at the moment, and they won't be cheap either

Menez is cheaper and right now better. So are numerous other wingers. If you're going to buy a young, uncertain prospect then the only advantage is that they'll come cheap

but if we end up spending all of our budget on these guys hoping that they'll help us improve as a club then we're idiots.

Imo, we should sign Criscito
Firstly, he is product of our youth teams and had great experience in Juve and Genoa. Secondly, he won't cost much, cuz his contract ends this season. Thirdly, he is currently the most qualitive italian terzino. He can pass accurately with 1 or 2 touch to the ball.

I'm sure they have access to producing multiple passports of their choosing. :p
Unlikely :xmas:

Agreed, he's never going to reach the top of his game in Barca. 20M in the Summer, see what happens.

As for Criscito, no idea what he'd cost but he's probably the best left back we can realistically buy so he should be chased.
