I'd love to have Griezmann at Juve but I read many people saying he'd cost too much. We'll see.

Pescara ? :boh: You're not confusing them with Avellino and the player being Zappacosta?

Murru is a decent prospect but I wouldn't mind D'Ambrosio on a free. Can play both left and rightback.

Thauvin I loved during that under tournament last summer but I guess we'll stick with Berardi. So if we really believe in Berardi then we'll go for a RW that wouldn't compromise a spot for him here or just but a guy that can play on the left also.

It's a lot of guesswork at the moment but I still think our budget won't be so low.

I mean, forgetting the fact that we won't make a dent in the CL with such a lowly budget, we'd find it hard to compete with other Serie A teams if we never add any real quality to our starting XI. We'll eventually get figured out and when we need to try something new, the likes of Isla will be coming off of the bench to 'save us'

That's if we barely spend anything. I'd say, we spend 30M. No matter what, the bare minimum we need is one player who will improve our starting XI. It could be a Winger, an attacking midfielder or a left-back. But we need one. Otherwise we better all be lowering our ambitions for the next few years. I can't see us winning the Scudetto next season if we add nobody to our starting XI.

@Mark Yes, it's that Panna Cotta guy :D D'Ambrosio is ok I guess; not too thrilled/excited by the prospect of acquiring him, but he seems versatile.

@W You suck. Thanks for killing all my hopes and dreams :p

    Only in FM RakiBro :D
Sorry, but alot of clubs are after him and if I know RS good enough. Then they expect to sell him for 40-45M.

I'd rather not add players just for the sake of stuffing/padding the squad. Guys like Biabiany, Ibarbo, Cerci, Bonaventura, and Diamanti are just fillers that won't really add that element of quality to the starting 11. If we are to deviate from 3-5-2 and play a 4-3-3 or 4-3-2-1/4-2-3-1 hybrid (especially in Europe) we need to upgrade the aspect of quality and unpredictability. I'd still take Nani (in spite of his inconsistency, as he is still a quality player nonetheless) if he is available for a reasonable price and wiling to take a pay-cut.
@PedroFlu Iturbe seems interesting, but let's see how he ends the season. Apparently Berardi is returning to us next season, and I'd be willing to take a chance on him as he does seem like a quality player. It's such a shame we missed out on Insigne and Hamsik (when we had the chance).

Jorginho, Radja (on co-ownership deals), Coentrao on a loan with an obligation to buy, Berardi, and Iturbe (if he maintains his early promise) would be a quality mercato.
Iturbe has a 14M transfer fee agreed with Verona. I doubt we'll pay it to be honest.

Coentrao on a loan will never happen either.

In our next mercato I honest believe that Conte stays, Pirlo renews, 3-5-2 will continue, and these moves have a good probability of happening:

    - Berardi back for 7M (1/2);

    - Pirlo renewal

    - Isla's 8M (1/2) bought from Udinese (we have the obligation to do it);

    - Nainggolan co-own for 8M

    - D'Ambrosio on a free

    - co-won Biabiany (from Parma) - Padoin + 2M

    - Cerci for 13M

    total spent: 38M

    - Sell Vucinic - around 10M

    - Sell Giovinco - around 10M

    - Sell half Isla - around 7M

    - Padoin to Parma for Biabiany

    Total received: 27M

    Overall expenditure: 11M

    Team (352)

Buffon; Barzagli, Bonucci, Chiellini; Litch (Biabiany), Asamoah; Pirlo, Vidal, Pogba; Tevez, Llorente.

    2nd team (433)

Storari; D'Ambrosio, Caceres, Ogbonna, Peluso (De Ceglie); Nainggolan, Marchisio, Asamoah; Berardi (Biabiany), Cerci (Berardi), Quagliarella

    Whos gonna buy Giovinco? Seriously.
Some shitty EPL like Southampton, Sunderland, QPR. Giovinco definitely fits EPL style (look at Giaccherini) and for 8.5M pounds I bet they'd love to get him.

There are so many things wrong with those 2 formations. Why would Asa play as acm and Pogba out wide? Also why would our second 2 have a formation of a 4-3-3 with Quag on the wing and Cerci as the cf?

Nani is our best shot at a world class winger for 20M or under. He has started 4 times this year and 0 times in the CL, how long can he take that?

The contract means nothing to me. It just means Man U didn't want to lose leverage and Nani was happy to take the pay increase knowing that he could still easily move on and likely keep the wages that high anyway.

Now Januzaj is coming into the picture, where does Nani fit in there? He got boo'd a couple weeks ago. There are few players that you can say, hey, on their day they're a world class player. And it's not like Nani is unproductive He had 30 goals + assists two years in a row before last year. That is impressive stuff.

Robben was 26 when he went to Bayern and went from flop to world class. If Nani did the same would anyone be surprised knowing how much talent he has? I doubt it.

I don't want Nani but if it's either him or some random mid-table Serie A flop then i'd take Nani

Can't be doing with no more useless bench players who take up part of our transfer budget and wages.
