I think it is, it's certainly not a bad attack but look at other teams in the CL
Barca - 'Nuff said

PSG - Ibra, Cavani Lavezzi and co.

Man City - Aguero, Negredo, Jovetic and Dzeko

United - Rooney, RVP etc

BVB - Lewa, Reus and Co

Madrid - Ronaldo, Bale, Benzema, Di Maria

Bayern - Robbery and Mandzukic + a bunch of quality attacking midfielders

Now i'm not saying it's our fault for not having oil money or anything like that, but in terms of teams who compete for the CL our attack is still lagging behind. Quite badly too.
And how is their defence ? midfield ? tactical unit ?

madrid easely is the most impressive team in that list.
yet they needed an incredible amount of luck to get 4 points vs us. Imagine the game with llorente 4 months more progressed, and a defence not making blunders?

We got the strongest midfield in the world. The best defence. Creativity isnt our forte but we kill the opponent's. scoring goals will improve as llorente blends in

I totally agree with jack in that this juve is semi final quality when playing to its strenght.

also, lets make a list of central domminating midfielders, lets have a lauch with those teams

That is true, but in these big European games it is such a big bonus to have clinical forwards that not only score from a lesser amount of service, but make their own goals regularly.

It seems we need 15-20 shots to break through whereas the big teams against us just make a handful of chances and reap the rewards.

Our best striker Tevez is pretty average in Europe for some reason so we're not in a particularly good position when it comes to our forwards.
I said Higuain would have been insane for us. for clinicality. and he certainly would have been.

However, llorente is pretty clinical. tevez adds massive to the team, and has so much creativity. Let tevez and lorente get to their top level here, and we have a world class forward pairing.

and on top of that, the best organisation..............................................................................................IN THE WORLD (Clarckson©)

I dont know whether the management really intended it or if its a coincidence but I think our squad has the best defensive players out there compared to the teams you mentioned. If the management really had a strategy to buy the best defensive players available since they are usually cheaper than attacking players which suits our budget more then that was really smart.

No doubt our defence is (Currently not) the best, my point is that our attack is definitely a level below the rest. And selling Vucinic without even replacing him is a step backwards and will do us no favours when we end up with an injury.

It was somewhat marotta's big idea. Going for deals at the right price, for players that could really up the value of the team.
Thing is, in this disgusting age of flair and fancy and RUN , the defensive and tactical value is disgustingly underrated aswel.

As a consequence, whilst the rich fools buy individuals, we have managed to build a formidable unit that when playing well, is near impossible to break down.
Compared with a coach who damn right knows how to put an organisation, it has all the elements of a classic juve.

do you have any numbers on Juve's growth rate in terms of revenues/expenses since Conte took over? I'd like to see where Juve will be financial in 3 years assuming we continue to grow at the the same rate. Cant wait till we are back in the business of luring the world's stars.

its tricky, as we didnt had CL in his first year

but the main factor is the italian league and international appeal. need those to be good to get serious turnoverz

i think rooney is pretty realistic at 35-40m. totally doable, but maybe his wages are an issue.

you could sub in lamela for him though if his wages too high.

lamela 35m, di maria 30m. mata 35m. Juve can sign atleast one, probably two if it sells isla and dc

rooney is definitely doable. his wages won't be an issue if there is enough bonus clauses in the contract, a thing juve likes to do. pay according to performance.

Buffon
Barzagli Bonucci Chiellini
Lichtsteiner Vidal Pirlo Pogba Coentrao
Mandzukic Tevez

With Lewandowski going to BM, Mandzukic would like to leave I guess. He's a possible signing for around 20M.
