Just for laughs,if Monaco agree to loan Falcao and pay some of his wages(say 20%) for the right of first refusal on Pogba, would you take the deal?:p

Realistically,I think Falcao would move to Madrid, especially as they now have the Di Maria moneyy too.

There is no top cb.

But T.Silva is the least $#@! one
That's what happens when Italians stop producing defenders. No other country truly knows how to defend...
Heck, all the best defenders historically spent sometime in Italy learning from the best.

Cannavaro, Nesta, Scirea, Baresi, Maldini need to start a school on how to defend and lockup each Italian youth team without smartphones or televisions for a year. They should also have special guest appearances by Claudio Gentile, and Marco Materazzi (Too much of them wouldn't be good for cards).

Class 1 - The history of defending: The Good, the Bad, and The Luiz
Class 2 - Where has catenaccio gone? It died with Bonucci.
Class 3 - How to mark your man. Hint: Don't watch Benitez' Napoli...
Class 4 - The art of the tackle. For examples, don't watch La Liga or the EPL.
Class 5 - How to be an aerial threat. Cannavaro vs. Ranocchia: The Metre Stick lies...
Class 6 - The 3-5-2: When your country stops producing quality centre backs...

Are we selling our best players nowadays?
Not yet. Just wait for next summer, when vidal and pogba will become interesting for every top club again.

We cant buy good players cuz we have no money. We will have to replace cornerstones of our team like buffon/pirlo and have no money to do so.

Real bayern barca psg manu city chelsea arsenal liverpool can splash big money and strengthen year by year. We cant.

What are you on about? We've been strengthening our team every year. In the forthcoming years we'll have even more room to operate on the market, mostly due to better sponsorship and television deals along with the fact that significant amount of our installments (payables) will be settled within current year.

Very funny.

Im just laughing cuz we make fun of Meelan but we are a feeder club nowadays too. Meelan is $#@! but so are we.

We cant compete with real barca psg bayern and top-5 english clubs
In all honesty, comparing Milan and us is not fair. A few things:

-Our management isn't nearly as mentally challenged as Milan's: See Seedorf treatment.
-We've never had to rely on Mexes and Bonera as pillars of our defense. Sure Chiellini and Barzagli aren't Cannavaro and Thuram, but the gap between each group is about the same.
-We do invest in the transfer market: Milan just looks for loans with options to buy and then haggles teams down from a 7 million euro transfer fee to a 3 million fee, relying on the player to pay part of it, which is down right embarrassing.
-Berlusconi: That is all.
-They don't own their stadium.

Juventus is on the right track and is performing reasonably well in spite of playing in Serie A. (not that the quality of the league is bad, but its a black hole when it comes to marketing).

Teams that are on the right track:
-Juventus
-Rome
-Udinese (Unfortunately, Pozzo decided to buy a team in a metro area of 175k) His talents (and strategy of buying up crappy teams in other leagues - Granata/Watford) and shifting them around would be a lot more effective if it involved Juventus/Everton/Valencia.
-Inter Milan

Teams that are a joke
-Milan: Berlusconi needs to sell. Milan is still the strongest brand in Italy, but if Berlusconi doesn't sell to an owner that is willing to pay off its debt and run it like his personal toy (rich arab/chinese owner), that brand will fizzle very quickly. If it wasn't for 2007's success I think it would be a lot weaker to be honest.

Teams that are becoming a joke
-Napoli: Getting Benitez was the worst thing De Laurentiis could possibly do. He doesn't play the Italians, brings in a bunch of 'good' La Liga defenders (which are horrendous by Serie A historical standards), and believes that Italian football isn't an attractive type of football, which he has said outright. That team has bought a bunch of Real Madrid leftovers with their big ticket being poacher.

One serious question: On september 2nd 2014 (with chicharito incoming) will we really be stronger than we were a year ago? In my opinion we will not.

And yes, we are improving in terms of business..but the Problem is that our european rivals improve more quickly.

If we make a new kit Deal with adidas 33 mio/year, then arsenal makes a new kit 40 mio/year.

We grow, but our competitors grow faster.

Where are these Chicarito rumors coming from?

This year we've made some upgrades in our team, added a quality, experienced LB, two highly promissing youngsters Morata and Coman, very good mid like Romulo and another realatively young and versatile player Pereyra. So overall yes, we have improved our team in my opinion, as there is a big difference in quality between aforementioned players and the ones we previously used, Padoin, Peluso, Quag, etc...

I cannot see any resemblance with Milan, as Italiacalcio pointed out and it's been discussed before, their owners aren't willing to invest unlike ours.

@italiacalcio10 i'd say viola is also on the right track
Forgot about them. Totally agree. I think they're a better team than napoli to be honest. They were really unlucky last year with rossi and Gomez. When your contingency plan is Matri you're in trouble. If rossi and Gomez stay healthy and cuadrado stays, they'll be third best after us and Roma.

Best defender in 2014. Means nothing.

Its allmost the paralympics compared to actually good defenders of previous generations
Would like to see a defender today handle messi the way gentile handled maradona. I wouldn't be against bringing catanaccio back
